He couldn't figure out what was wrong, but he couldn't avoid the feeling. He continued into the kitchen. There was a brown haired girl he didn't recognize standing at the refrigerator.
She heard him enter and turned, and stared at him in shock. Then she hurried up to him and hugged him. "I thought...how could you be here?" She said. "I wished...and everything changed."
He looked at her. "You wished for what?" he asked. If she wished him away, then back somehow...
"I didn't understand the rules," she insisted. "You have to believe me. I made a stupid wish, and..."
"Who are you?" He demanded from her, looking at her closely to see if there was anything familiar about her whatsoever.
