She began walking in the field toward the forest. It wasn't that far away, so Karyn didn't speed up the time. She also had a better vision of the ground as the thickening mist wasn't present on her screen, and that allowed her to see something. "J... Emily, it looks like you're not the first to go in this forest."
"What?"
"It looks like there's a trail in the grass." Karyn explained, making Emily look down. She hadn't noticed it at first, but she was indeed walking in some sort of trail, like someone had taken this exact same route a number of times before.
"Do you think my brother was the one who made this trail?" Emily asked.
"The game didn't mention him living with anyone else, so I don't know who else it could be..."
"The game didn't even give us a name for him, so I wouldn't be surprised if he had a wife or something and it didn't tell us." Emily complained, and was surprised when this caused the game to react as a message appeared to the both of them.
