Bianca looked to see that they had arrived at the high school she went to when she was Biff Meadows. It surprised her to see that it was dilapidated and empty. Windows were broken, the parking lot fenced off, and dark on the inside. And once again she got the feeling that something else had happened, because a school could not just get like this in two days.
"Come on, babe, I think it's best we stay together," Jon said, grabbing the holo-pedestal from the dash and getting out. Reluctantly, Bianca got out of her seat and stepped onto cracked concrete in her heels. A chilly wind blew around her, sending her long hair every which way. She brushed it back and looked over to Jon and saw him staring at her.
"What?"
"Nothing. It's just, you're beautiful, babe."
Bianca curled her fingers into fists, "Stop calling me babe. And let's just find Pixie."
Jon nodded and reached into a gun holster that Bianca hadn't noticed before. But the pistol he pulled from it looked strange. It was sleek and black and the muzzle seemed to glow electric blue.
"Stay behind me," Jon said, and Bianca quickly complied, following him a few paces behind.
"Do you have any more of those?" She asked quietly as they got to the front doors. Jon shook his head and looked cautiously into the school's main hall.
"Just stay back and you'll be fine."
