"What the hell?" fake Athena said. "What happened to my mom?"
"I don't know. I've got to find Karyn."
"I don't care where your girlfriend is. What did you do to my mom?" she insisted.
"She isn't my girlfriend. But, I need to fix everyone. Do you trust me?"
"Well, I saw...something," fake Athena admitted.
"I want you to go to Nadine Ferguson's room. Can you do that?"
"That stuck-up bitch? She wouldn't let me in the door."
Jon found that amusingly ironic, as she was actually Nadine. He wondered for a moment what it would be like if Nadine returned to her family with Athena's sensibilities. He banished the thought quickly. "Trust me? Please try it. I need to find Karyn."
He didn't give fake Athena a chance to say no. He headed off. He needed to find Karyn.
