Jon sat down at the kitchen table and breathed a heavy sigh. He was exhausted. Cleaning the house was hard work. He had followed his mother's instructions to the letter. He had dusted in every room and vacuumed every carpet.
Once the cleaning was done his next task was to do the laundry. He went round every bedroom checking every hamper and making sure to pick up all the clothes that were lying on the floor.
Putting the dirty washing in a washing basket he then went downstairs to the washing machine where he put the first load in. His mother had said she would be gone for a few minutes but she was actually out for a couple of hours. Jon decided to sit down and wait while the laundry was done.
Just as the first load had finished and Jon was hanging the clothes out on the dryer Jon heard his mother come home.
He felt a rush of excitement and stopped what he was doing before rushing out in to the hall to meet her.
"Hi mommy!" He said excitedly in his high pitched voice. His mother laughed. "Calm down boy-toy. Have you done your chores yet?" She asked.
Jon nodded sheepishly. "Almost mommy." He said. "I was just about to start another load of laundry."
His mother nodded in satisfaction. "Very good boy-toy." Jon beamed with pride as she said that. "Now come on." His mother said as she made her way towards the kitchen.
"It's time for your lunchtime milk. I want to get you cleaned up before your suitors call."
