After a quick read of the to-do list, Jon decided to start with ... well, he wasn't sure. It seemed that when he concentrated on the list, he got back some of his willpower. He knew he had to follow the list, but not necessarily in the order that it was written. Allowing him some space to maneuver, as to which chore he wanted to do first, it seemed that it was enough for his normal self to come back.
He thought about not following the list at all, to instead explore this new world where guys had male heads, male genitals, but female everything else, and vice versa for the women. But the moment he turned away from the list, he felt an intense obligation to it that brought him right back.
Groaning, Jon realized that he wasn't getting out of this. He'd have to perform the chores given to him by his mother.
Looking down at the list again, he decided to start with one of the easiest chores - vacuuming and dusting. He had done it before, when preparing for family get-together dinners (like Thanksgiving or Christmas), but this might have been the first time he did it as normal everyday routine. Regardless, it was easy enough to figure out, so he went to the closet, got the vacuum cleaner, and got started, his new body making it a little more difficult than he remembered.
