In the next class, Jon explored the rest of the menu. Nothing really stood out. Items was empty, but he learned he could put anything inside; equipment just had his clothes and its stats; misc had a relationship page, which only had one person on it, Mrs. Quint (apparently he needed to see the advanced detail page). Misc also had an Accomplishments page, but it was empty except for the first quest achievement. With options, he could turn down the sound and change the quality of his vision, but it threw him off, so he changed it back to normal.
Jon began to idly use Observation to grind the skill and add people to his relationship page. Most people were simply 'distant acquaintances. He did have two people who were 'good', but not friends. Jon guessed the 'game' was right in calling him a loner.
As he finished the Observation of the classroom, two boxes appeared:
Congratulations! You have formed relationships with twenty-five people.
You have gained +1 charisma and +10 exp.

Jon started to Observe random objects, but got useless information, like "Pencil: used for writing; made of wood, rubber, and graphite." Grinding Observation was getting a bit boring, so he started to make a plan on using his first Skill that uses mana, Editor or Stealth.
