Jon went straight to the Skills page. Another list opened up, though it was smaller than he hoped.
Skills:
- [Passive] Observation (lvl 3): View stats of those around you. [0 mana]
- [Active] Editor (lvl 1): Change 1 non-level stat (e.g. age, gender, mood, etc., not level, health, strength, etc.) of a target you are touching. [100 mana] (Stat must be able to be viewed by Observation skill)
- [Auto] Revive (lvl 1): If HP = 0, restore 10% HP. [1 level] (Warning: skills may be lost if level is decreased; if level = 0, revive cannot be used.
- [Toggle] Stealth (lvl 1): Become unnoticed for five seconds. [20 mana/sec]
Jon nodded to himself. Not bad, not bad. Revive guaranteed he wouldn't die automatically, just as long as his levels stayed up. He didn't really want to train that one, since it was costed levels (and would be super scary). He already knew about observation, but editor seemed like it would be interesting. He'd have to play with that one. Stealth might also be fun.
But apparently he needed mana to use some skills. He closed out of the skills menu and opened the status window. It looked very similar to the 'advanced detail' page, but it had more info and a picture of Jon.
Name: Jon Gibson
Class: Student: Loner
Subclass: Gamer
Level: 4 (105 exp to next level)
Health: 40/40 (Regen: 1 HP/hour)
Mana: 100/100 (Regen: 2 MP/hour)
Gender: Male
Strength: 5
Constitution: 2
Dexterity: 3
Intelligence: 6
Wisdom: 4
Charisma: 2
Jon felt somewhat disheartened; he could accept his constitution was low, but did he really have that low of charisma? Also, loner? Now the 'game' was just being mean.
He shrugged it off. He could probably change that if he wanted to. More importantly, he had 100 mana. He could use Editor once, and stealth for five seconds. Though, it would take about two days for it to completely regenerate. He would need to find a way to fix that.
Suddenly, Jon felt a sharp pain on the back of his head, which immediately went away. A green bar appeared in front of him and decreased slightly, 39/40; he lost 1 HP. An arrow also pointed behind him to show him where the pain came from.
"Hey, nerd, class is over. You're in my seat." Jon turned around to see Biff standing with a couple of his friends. Jon looked around and the rest of the classroom was empty; class was over. He must have spaced out.
Without saying a word, Jon collected his stuff, but then found himself face down on the ground; 38/40 HP. Biff and his friends were laughing at Jon for being tripped by Biff. Jon sent them a glare, but walked out quietly.
Apparently, if he got slapped in the head or tripped forty times, he would die. That was not a comforting thought, even though he had revive. He would get his payback once he leveled up though.
