Elsewhere, Derek Lettman set up his camera in his bedroom:
"Hi, my name is Derek Lettman and I'm going to kill myself but first I'm going to tell you why." Derek confessed to the camera.
"My dad died a few years ago, me and mum had coped but only just, her jobs mean I hardly see her at all and when I do she's stressed and tired. We can't afford enough food so I have so little energy I'm failing school. I tried getting a job but they always go to cheap illegals or their children. I would do so well too I'm a lot more motivated than 'Daddy's little princess'. So, I have no future and the present isn't good either. I have to endure daily bullying from the jocks which I could handle like most other kids if it weren't for Randy Goodman. Randy Goodman. sigh He stands there with the rest of them with his perfect body and I look into his beautiful blue eyes as he calls me a fag and it hurts so much more because I Love You, Randy! I hope you see this so you know how I feel. I know you'll never love me back because you're going out with Amber Levine but this isn't about her or you. It's because despite all the years at this stupid school I haven't made 1 friend, not 1 person to share this pain with, to understand me, to help me."
Derek held back tears and climbed up on his chair.
"And now for the moment you've all been waiting for..." Derek announced
"... My suicide!!"
And with that Derek put his makeshift noose around his neck and jumped.
His body twitched the first few seconds, then he died.
His lifeless body hung there, slowly turning.
It flickered.
It was hanging there and then it was gone as if there was nothing there at all, then it was back in a moment as if nothing had happened still continuing it's slow turn. It happened so quick, you could have easily missed it.
It flickered again.
And again.
And again
And again
And again
Then it was gone. Derek's room was empty. The makeshift noose still hanging from the ceiling. The camera still running capturing everything.
Silence filled the room.
Then Derek respawned on his bed.
