Jon felt great. He had never done anything like that before and it was a rush. He felt energized, renewed, but also a pressure in the back of his mind grew.
"So you know how I said life is a videogame? Well I just did something awesome, and now I've leveled up!"
"What does that even mean? What are you seeing? Everything looks the same to me."
"I'll have to make a wish so that you can see this then, go co op mode, because I was just invisible! that's how I snuck up on you, and got past Biff and his goons."
"So the game gives you powers?"
"Skills but yeah"
"Well do I have any skills then?'
Jon opened her information.
"Well your weakness is math"
"Everybody knows that. I have a tutor."
"Hmm...It just says "charm" but it's blacked out. Maybe you can't use it yet? I don't know...try to charm me maybe?"
"What for?"
"What do you mean?"
"Well I can't just charm you for no reason, what do I want from you?"
"Try and get this dollar from me? I don't have the stone with me, so that's not an option."
"I don't want your gross dollar, forget it. I'm not going to seduce you, Jon. "
"Fine, I need to level up anyway." Jon said turning on his own information.
LEVEL UP!! was prominently displayed. To Karyn it just looked like Jon was swiping at air, conducting some ethereal orchestra.
Jon hit the LEVEL up button and a list of skills came down, as well as 1 attribute point.
"Lets see here, I could sneak for longer, Oh I can backstab, that's always useful, I can observe from a distance, use rope, quick study...oh heres one, edit."
"What's that do?" Karyn asked
"It allows me to change a stat of a person, but it drains all my mana for two days."
"Change a stat? Like what?"
"Age, height, class, gender... I think anyway, it's the things I see when I look at your information."
"Could you change me back to the way I was before my hair and boobs wish?"
"I don't know.... maybe? There are a lot of other skills here. I think this one lets me shoot fire...."
"Please, Jon, you've got to change me back if you can... that's only fair."
"It's worth a shot, but let me just read through these... there are a lot."
Something seemed to change in Karyn just then. She touched Jon, got his attention, made eye contact. There was something in her eyes, in her voice, both playful, cute, and tugging.
"But why bother looking, when you know what you want?" The way she said it just begged him to kiss her right then and there. She had never come on to him before like this, it was shocking, he was taken by surprise.
"I don't know..."
She kissed him, even she didn't know what she was doing, but it felt right at the time, and while the kiss happened. When the kiss broke their eyes met again.
"Do it for me?"
"O...ok." Jon stammered.
The button said "edit 2 things for half mana", which was nice... but had he been in his right mind he would have gone with the fireball or backstab... something flashy and cool. He hit it anyway. Then added 1 to his charisma. His ruffed cloths suddenly smoothed themselves at this and his hair found some product in it, it looked like he had put at least a little effort into his appearance.
