Jon quickly got ready to go. He called Karyn so that they could meet before school. Other than seeing the names and random info above people's heads, Jon didn't notice anything else.
On the way to the school, Jon saw that other people had the same thing. Most people were between levels 3 and six. The highest he saw was seven, an athletic guy going for a morning jog. He arrived at the school and continued looking at people pass by. After had seen around twenty people, he heard a light ding and a hologram-like square appeared in front of him. Inside it read:
Skill: Observation - lvl. 1 -> lvl. 2
- View the name, class, level, and health of those within 10 levels above you and all levels below.
* (New) View gender, mood, and simple weakness of target in 'advanced detail'.

Jon stared at the text box for a long while. No matter how he turned his head, it stayed right in front of him. He reached out and pointed at the close button. It closed the text box. "That's pretty cool," Jon thought. "Looks like I can level up skills."
"So, what did you want to talk to me about?" Karyn asked, stifling a yawn. Jon looked over Karyn, especially noticing her larger breasts and blond hair. Above her head said: Karyn Black, Student, Lvl. 5, HP 40/40. As he stared at her for a few seconds, a small box appeared in front of him saying, 'Advanced detail.' Jon pointed at it and another text box appeared saying:

Level: 5
Health: 40/40
Gender: Female
Mood: Tired and slightly curious
Weakness: Math
"Jon," Karyn asked, "are you alright?"
Jon snapped himself back to the moment. "Yeah. Um, how do I explain this . . . I made an accidental wish."
"You did what? What did you say?"
"I wished something interesting would happen."
"That's kind of broad. Do you know what happened?"
"I think so. Apparently it's like I'm in a video game." Karyn looked confused. Jon continued, "I can see stats above people, like their names, occupation and other stuff. I also have skills, though I don't know what they are."
"I guess that's interesting," Karyn said. "What level am I?"
"Five. That's a bit above average." He didn't tell her she had a higher level than him. Just then, a bell rang signaling class starts in a few minutes. "Anyway, I want to test out exactly what I can do. Meet me after school?"
Karyn nodded. "Did you bring the rock? We could always wish we didn't have class."
Jon shook his head. "I didn't want to risk another accident. We've both had one now."
"Fair enough. See you later then."
