"Good. Then when we're done eating breakfast, I want you to clean up the kitchen, then I want you to take every picture of your family and put them into a bag. Do not look at them," she said. "Put the bag in the trash."
"But...why?"
"Jon," she said. "You don't need to question me, do you? You know I must have a good reason." The reason was two-fold. Jon would take a long while away from her to start being rational...although any suggestions she planted would linger. This would test his willingness to do things.
Secondly, she didn't want anything reinforcing the fact she had just arrived, and possibly jarring the memories of those she was gaining a hold on.
