"I wish Karyn and myself would always remember the world as it is now, even if we don't hear the wishes made with the stone." Jon said and before quickly confirming this was a wish, and the stone flashed like it always did whenever it granted a wish. He originally only thought about Karyn remembering his wishes, but had included himself as precaution after some consideration.

"I wish I could return to this moment in this reality and in this body by wishing it, and I wish I always had a feasible way to cancel the effect of a wish without needing the stone. These are both wishes." These were the two possibilities Jon had thought about to undo a wish without actually undoing it with the stone. Jon was relieved to watch the stone flash twice in a row as it meant they both had been granted.

"I wish my mind couldn't be altered by the stone unless I want to." Once again, the stone flashed following his confirmation. Until now, he had only wished for safety measure, that he would probably have wished for anyway had he thought of them before. He could still hear a voice telling him to stop, that he didn't have to wish anymore, but Jon ignored it.

"I wish my next wishes for the next five minutes would be granted with minimum alteration to the world around me and without me traveling to another dimension or anything like that." That wasn't the best way of phrasing it but Jon couldn't find a way to incorporate everything. Instead, he just left it at that and hoped the stone understood as it flashed with his approval, relying on his other safeguards if it wasn't enough. It would at least assure his world didn't suffer from his actions.

Jon breathed out slowly. This was the last moment before the big wish. He had taken a lot of precautions, but even then, he had no way of knowing if that would be enough. Contrary to the last few, this next wish was left purposely vague, to let the stone fill the blank he couldn't fill himself. Jon hesitated now more than at any point since he began planning out his wishes.
He really wanted this wish, but the overly cautious part of him kept telling him it would be a mistake, that it was dumb... And maybe it was, but that somehow made it all the more desirable.

He closed his eyes, standing in the middle of his room, unmoving for what felt like an hour but was closer to a minute. Finally, he opened his eyes with a look of determination. "Fuck it! I wish... I wish my life would become more like the life of a protagonist from a video game I would enjoy!"

Saying it out loud made him feel like an idiot, if that wasn't already the case, but he pushed through the feeling and added a little louder than necessary. "this is a wish!"

As the stone flashed, he felt himself growing weak, quickly loosing balance. He realized bitterly it was indeed a mistake, but it was too late now as his vision turned to black.
