Dinner was interesting with Jon's parents on top of each other the whole time. They really didn't want to take their eyes off one another, and because of the wish, Jon's brother and sister didn't think anything of it. Still it was starting to get a little too much for Jon. Once he was back in his room, he grabbed the stone and thought about how he could make their new "love" more tolerable. "Okay... First of all, I wish Dad and whoever he was having an affair with would break it off super clean, Dad has no lingering feelings for her (or him, I guess) and they were super okay and supportive of Dad getting back together with Mom. Plus, Mom won't be mad that Dad was having the affair in the first place." The stone glowed and blasted out with energy. He could only assume that meant that the wish worked.
"Okay, next... I wish that Mom and Dad were perfectly secure in their relationship. They aren't being clingy because they're paranoid that the other is cheating on them, rather they just can't stand being apart from one another. They're also able to be rational and mature about other people. If there's no flirtatious undertone, then they have no reason to be worried. If there somehow is a flirtatious tone, then they can politely say that they are taken and are very committed." The stone glowed again and burst out wish energy.
"Now... For the thing that I was going to do..."
Meanwhile, the door of Jon's parent's room flew open and the two of them hobbled in, kissing and feeling their way through the room. Eventually, they stumbled over onto the bed and laughed. "God... I haven't felt this good since our honeymoon..." His mother, Susan, said.
"Me either..." His father, Peter, added. He then felt his phone ding in his pocket. It was his coworker, Alyssa.
Alyssa: Look, I like you, but I don't want to be a home wrecker. Think we can go back to just being friends?
Peter: Yeah, totally. My wife and I were going through a pretty rough patch, but I realized that there was no other girl for me.
Alyssa: Good for you. :) Good luck together.
Peter: Thank you.
With that, Peter put his phone on the bed stand and went back to kissing his wife. "Who was that?" Susan asked.
"Alyssa." Peter answered. "I don't really know what I was thinking with her."
Susan brought her hand up and pinched Peters nose. "You didn't realize what an incredible woman that I was..."
"What an idiot I was..." Peter said with a pinched nose.
Susan let go of him and said, "Well, I wasn't exactly being Mrs. Wonderful... Giving you such a cold shoulder lately because of my jealousy..."
"Yeah... What do you say we both say we're sorry and stop our shoulders from being cold by keeping them together all the time?"
"I'd love to..." Susan said before they went back in for another kiss. As they parted lips, another wave of wish energy came flying through the air, and suddenly a new idea came to the both of them.
"Let's merge together..." They said simultaneously. Despite neither of them ever thinking about such a thing in the past, it was somehow the single most romantic thing either of them had said to the other, causing them to get flustered at each other.
"Y-you want to share a body with me?..." Susan asked, tears beginning to form in her eyes.
"Honey..." Peter started, feeling like he was proposing all over again. "I never want to leave you again... Ever... You're my everything... So let's just make it permanent by fusing our bodies together."
Susan looked like she was about to explode with joy as she heard him say that. "Yes..." She squeaked as she wrapped him up and gave him a kiss. "Never ever apart! You and I are going to be permanently attached!"
"I love you!" Peter said.
"I love you too!" Susan said before embracing one another and continuing to kiss.
