I was frustrated. "There has to be a faster way." I snapped. They looked at me. "This was made for full Staulirs. Of course it will take much longer for us." the leader said dismissively. The hot head then grinned. "Wanna fuse? If we did, we'd be bigger. Getting bigger will make it easier to make it." The leader sighed. "We have an odd number of people. We'll have to carry the smaller on on the bigger's back." the said. "Well, it's not like fusing doesn't feel good. I think it's fair trade." replied the hot head quickly. I was for it. Anything to cut down on the walking time. "You seem to think you'll be the one in control." the leader said with a smug look. The hot head rose to the challenge and leaned on him. "You think I can't take you? C'mon. You'll be begging me to take control." he said in a sultry voice as he ran a finger along his chest. The leader chuckled and ran his hands along the hot head's lower back. It made the hot head's breath hitch as the leader massaged the area for half a minute. "Stop it! I am not going to sprout in a hallway." he hissed. The leader let him go and he bounced to me.
Curious how it would feel, I agreed immediately to his proposal to fuse. The hothead smiled and said "There we go. Let me handle it all." The hothead then placed their forehead against mine and closed their eyes. I was then taken to a tutorial screen to explain fusing. Once contact was made, the consent was asked for. If there was consent, they went with an agreement on who will control the body. If there was a disagreement, a random minigame of tic-tac-toe, twister or a dice roll would take place to settle the matter. This would be done 3 times and the first to 2 would get control. If there was no consent, there was a mini battle to determine if the one forcing the fuse could force the other party to submit. If you were forced to submit, you could attempt to force a break every 10 minutes. After 30 minutes, the link was broken automatically. I accepted the terms and I was taken to the mindscape where this was taking place. I could see the hothead smiling in front of me. I was asked for my consent. I felt really good as I could feel us merge into 1. Both of us wanted the control.
Tic-tac-toe was the game that appeared. "Hey! I said I was going to handle it. What gives?" the hot head said. I just shrugged. "I wanted to test things out." was what I said. The hot head just scoffed. Playing the game with the hot head was pretty easy. He fell for me setting up a 2-way trap. He was pretty smug when he blocked the first path for me to just immediately win. I had full control and I was taken back to the hallway. I was 12.5 feet tall and I felt stronger and a warm fuzzy feeling in my chest. "Let me crouch down so we can get goin already." I said. The leader said "I was not expecting this. Good job." When I felt them get on my back, I started jogging down the hallway. We got there much quicker. When the leader jumped off, I could feel the hot head want to decouple. I let it happen and we split apart. They did not look happy with me. The hot head did not say anything about it to me though. "Let's just go find some humans, alright!?" they snapped. I nodded and let them lead the way. When we got to a glass screen, we could look out to see a coupling with humans patrolling.
