I made my way to the closest one to me and found that there were still bandits in the castle. I moved on before they could notice me. The next one had our order's flag. It was a very good sign that at least one of them would be inside. I approached the fort and I saw the gray croptop of Iota. I approached him and he smiled. "There is news to report. Two of the forts have fallen. The third has taken to paying us tribute to stay running. We thought that we should should wait for instructions on how to handle this." he said when I got into talking range. That was interesting. I would have to think about it. I asked if Kappa and Theta were around. He shook his head. They are in the other fort. They are recruiting new members. I am managing this one with the other knights you sent with us. That was good news. I told him that I needed him to come with me. I let him know about the growing desperation in finding them. "I don't know if he will try to come here after me or if he will listen to my lie about Epic City. If he finds you guys, you're screwed. The main thing is that you three are all safe." I told him.
My concern seemed to touch him as he put a hand on my shoulder. "Thank you for the concern. You don't have to worry about us that much. We'll put the others here in charge and be on our way." he said warmly. After all of the delegating was done, he got a horse and we rode for the next fort. Kappa and Theta were there and I took the both of them into my party as well. We just had to get them to the grand shrine and it would be done. We made a straight dash for the border. Once we crossed, the three of them followed me to the edge of the shrine grounds. "I can't go to the shrine with you. Lots of drama at the moment. Go to the gate and let them know you want to stay on the grounds for a bit and claim sanctuary." They looked at me in confusion, but nodded and followed my instructions. I watched them as they went inside and I smiled. My mission was accomplished and I had nothing to do other than explore and see what popped up. That led to me going to the capitol city of Humora and paying to entry fee at the toll. There was a commotion and I wanted to see what was going down.
Nine people were in a brawl on the street. I had no clue what was going on but I saw them fight their hardest. When the fight was done, three of them were on the ground unconscious. I was going to move on when I saw two figures approach the scene from the opposite side of the street. They looked exactly like Chat and Chien did when I first met them. There was no doubt that they were Protectors- Special Ops. One had a roman numeral "II" and the other had a "XIV". This was 2 and 14. I was told some of the remaining Protectors fled the island in the purges. They walked over to the victors and asked what was going on. They were belligerent and called them "foreign scum". The two Protectors then knocked them all out with a single punch each. I ran after them and heard "... I get called scum!" from Agent 14. He was clearly still a bit annoyed. Agent 2 shrugged and said "I think it's time to get to the guild. The Bronze ranking won't earn itself." I approached them and said "You ran all the way here after the troubles in Pollo Island? That was brave of you." They stilled and turned to face me.
