Lilly was a squirrel-girl.

She had not always been so, and if truth were to be told, she had lived a lot longer then her appearance would make anyone believe. Chronologically, she was about thirty years of age. Really, it gets a bit weird if one thought on it too much- she wasn't really thirty, not any more.. When the sunlight hit that young teenager, he- now a she lost a lot of her original age starting life again as young pre-teen animal girl.

She was now thirteen or fourteen (at least as best one can guess) and doing well in her studies. Regressing in age was not just a factor of her body, but also in her mind. There was so much she forgot and she had to learn things all over. Sometimes it depressed her, but gentle encouragement from her family made her work much harder then she ever had before.

It was certainly not at all completely bad. It allowed her an opportunity to learn about magic, and to become friends with one of the Number magic-girls. Magic Girl Four... Jenny.

Her unusual features did not end just with being a somewhat anthropomorphic (and very cute) animal-girl. Really, the world was made up of many kinds of animal-people now. There were wolves, foxes, rabbits, and even a skunk girl... each with a varying degree of human-features. Lilly occupied a spot right in the middle. In theory a squirrel-girl should be able to fit in to all that, but there was an 'oddness' about her that was different in some ways.

Lily also had a total of four breasts in two rows of two on her chest. Each were of relatively equal size, and were a slight 'annoyance' to her as time went by. She tried to ignore them not really sure what else to do. They were small but noticeable now, and actually just a little larger then her best friend's'. Besides that, she had a set of twin tails branching from her tail bone in what seemed to be a natural arc to the left and right showing a curious poise and balance to her transformed state.

She studied with her sister Stacy in the same school, who was also about the same age... and of course, their little brother Gwydion. Both siblings were 'normal' humans, although Stacy spent time under the rainbow sun as a very large 'dinosaur boy', actually being Lilly's older brother for a few months. Stacy changed back after the sun changed... and while she could have been happy as a dinosaur boy, she had to admit she was happier having Lilly as she was, and to be back to normal.

Gwydion was certainly an 'unusual' name for their new brother, but this was now an age of magic and it just felt right to give him a different and interesting name given he was handsome and born with such bright eyes. Gwydion was amongst those born just 'after' the sun changed. He never knew the world as being any different to what it was now. He was still very young, and loved playing with his furry big sister, often treating her as a giant teddy bear. He was also friends with Jon's first born daughter as playmates finding the slug-girls 'interesting' to poke at (though Gwyd did get into trouble when he tried to poke her in the eye, to see what would happen after playing with a real slug.)

Their little brother was human, and as per the rules of Jon's wish, it was rather 'unlikely' he would change. He was born under good circumstances, with a wholesome family that would accept him no matter what. As a new-born, he had no concept of what was 'good' for him, other then simply living and being healthy. there was nothing to 'judge' him by. Of course it was hard to tell if this was the case... The stone would not just look at what is known, but could project the entire course of a person's life... before making a judgement. Even someone with their whole life being perfect, could potentially change.

Perhaps it was just more 'interesting' that Gwydion was a human in the end, and surrounded by the changed. Lilly however was a little surprised that her little brother turned out to be a boy. She was absolutely sure, it would be a girl. Then again, having three girls in the family would have been... strange? Still... it might have been interesting too. Though it made her all the more shyer to consider what she was... even if she was 'okay' with it.

She had spoken to Lucas on her father's disappearance. An entire plane... was gone. She should be more panicked, but... part of her knew her Dad had to be okay. Lucas had a time machine, she could probably go back and save him... right?

But then again... there were rules about that sort of thing. What if she couldn't?

There was another strange thing. She was looking on the news, and there was absolutely no mention of Anneza anywhere. Looking on the internet, all she got was a jumble of weird alien text that had to be in her language... it was all very strange. Also her friend Hikari was nowhere to be seen.

"Stacy? Did you hear anything about Anneza? Why is the internet using her language?"

"Who?"

Lilly blinked. "Anneza. The space girl? The really famous one?"

Stacy looked at Lilly blankly. "There's no space girl that I know about Sis... you okay?"

Lilly frowned a bit. It was as if Anneza had been wiped from existence... Someone was messing with reality, and for whatever reason she was aware of it.

Because you are also my daughter Lilly, said a voice. The voice was sweet and caring, with harmonious tones that made her feel warm... the feminine force. Venus incarnate. The goddess had a very 'personal' relationship to Lilly. Sometimes she was cautious to show such favouritism as- all women were her daughters... but Lilly held a special place, and many would agree to her reasons.

Lilly bit her lip with her large incisors. Having a goddess in her head at times was a bit weird. Venus for the most part left her to her own devices... only speaking when it was necessary. She had also heard that the magic girls lost their powers... Clearly things were not right. What could she do?

The young teenage animal girl went to her room where there was a small safe. She placed her paw-like hand onto a sensor, and it opened up revealing a curious 'crystalline' item inside a music box.

"Lilly?" said Stacy. "I heard about the magic girls... you know that ain't ready though."

Lilly frowned. She held up the strange crystal and it made Stacy tense as if the thing was going to explode. "Relax sis, I'm not going to use it. I was just looking at it."

Stacy looked relieved. "Its very beautiful..." She had watched her new sister look everywhere for 'it'. A special object that would initiate the 'transformation' into some kind of 'super powered' state.

Lilly smiled a bit her tails twitching. "I dunno how the power of the magic girls work..."

"Yeah, it is a bit weird." Stacy tried to help Lilly work it out. But applying logic got them nowhere. "Maybe their power is just really really different from the others?"

"I ain't gonna give up sis. I don't have a magical item any more... but I'm still magic. I can do those smaller spells. Smaller spells can become bigger spells... and one of them will 'create' the totem."

This crystal, was Lilly's most important project. An 'artificial' totem, to become a magic girl... the problem was, it didn't work. The 'link' to the power source was just not there, no matter what she tried.

Lilly and Stacy, both studied magic. Stacy was not quite so good at it as her animal-sister, and her tricks were very simple and rudimentary. When it was found she could cast magic's from the downloaded programs on the internet, she became ex-tactic and saved as much as she could of them. Suddenly she was doing spells as well as Lilly.

...but the magic from the internet worked like scrolls. The words disappeared once read...

Lilly's magic 'spells', however the way she did it, never disappeared. it was written, it was born in the mind and somehow manifested into her will. They made Lilly 'tired' somehow, so the energy was not limitless... it was something all in her magic circle could do, to various extents.

"There must be different paths of magic," said Stacy. "Everything's got their own way of working. The Magic girl totems, the internet spells, and the way you an' me an' the magic circle does magic..."

Lilly nodded. "Then there's The Key-elements. Jen and the others..."

Stacy looked thoughtful at that. "So... which is better?"

"I think certain ones 'trump' the other. The magic stone can do pretty much anything. Unless we find a stronger magic item."

"I dunno sis. I think any spell can be powerful if used right." Stacy said with a little worried look. Right now there were hundreds of new 'magicians' out there, trying out magic... without the experience of the magic circle.

"I hope... dad's okay," said Lilly sadly.

Stacy gave her sister a hug. "Hey... he's got an angel looking for him. We're really lucky... and you got to do some other things here. It's Jen's birthday!"

Lilly gasped. She.. forgot! Was that also just a weird coincidence? That the star would change around her teacher's birthday?

The squirrel girl nodded. "Let's get her a nice present."

So... what could they get a slug woman, who could wish for anything she wanted?
