As soon as Jon was close enough Karyn grabbed his arm and dragged him into her house. Jon could tell Karyn was already a bit stronger!
When they were in her room she shut the door and said though gritted teeth as loudly as she dared, "What the FUCK did you DO?!?"
Jon did his best to explain what happened, but the truth was he didn't know. He went over everything that he had done before the sun changed color, but had no idea why his wishing stone had affected the sun millions of miles away or even if it had affected it.
Karyn grabbed the stone from Jon and said, "Whatever shithead. I'll deal with you later. Right now we gotta try to fix my mom."
Jon learned that Karyn's mother had been out in the garden this morning when the sun came up. By the time she realized she was changing it was too late. Jon only hoped the stone could undo whatever changes Karyn's mom had gone through.
When Jon followed Karyn into her livingroom he saw a large unfamiliar man sitting on the sofa crying. Jon knew the man must be Karyn's mom! Karyn's dad had his arm around his newly male wife, er, husband and was trying his best to console him even though he looked just as upset as his husband was. When the new man looked up Jon could plainly see the resemblance on his face to Karyn's mom.
This guy had been a woman this morning but after 5 minutes in the Chartruce Sun he now looked like he was ready to be a pro wrestler. He was taller, larger, and visibly more muscular than Karyn's dad. He had BIG arm muscles, a chiseled jaw and thick stubble on his face. Jon could also see the oversized bulge that Karyn's mom's new male endowment made even in the loose sweatpants she (he) had put on since her (his) own clothes no longer fit. Karyn's mom was more manly than her dad!
Karyn slipped into the dining room and started making various wishes to try to get her mother's female body back. However, since all the changes were caused by magic from the sun and not the stone directly, the stone could not influence the changes of the Chartruce Sun. The power of the sun itself was pushing the magic of the changes now. The stone may have caused the Chartruce Sun, but it could not undo it even if it's influence could reach the sun again. Just as a yell can start an avalanche, no amount of yelling can STOP an avalanche.
Karyn found she could wish for her mother to have new clothes that fit him, or even make him calm down about the changes, but that was about all. Karyn could probably give her mom blue skin or two heads, but she could not restore femininity that had been washed away by the rays of the Chartruce Sun.
