Jon tried to change things back to normal, but it was no use. The stone prevented him from doing it. Apparently, his wish for something interesting to happen was too vague and since there was nothing specific within the wish, it was nearly impossible for him to manipulate it in any way.
He did momentarily think about wishing that he and his family were immune to the effects of the sunlight, but then thought that that might create new problems, especially if they began to wonder why they didn't change but the rest of the town did. No, it was better just to keep things the way they were. But, you know, if Jon could figure out specifically what the sunlight was doing to people (both female and male), then maybe he could figure out a way to fix his careless wish. Maybe.
He sighed, looking at his shaded window, and wondered how the rest of the people in town were reacting to this.
