"Exposure to the rays of the azure sun causes humans, and even animals, to turn into mythical beings or creatures," explained the news anchor, who was safe inside a studio. "Our reporters have confirmed this through...first-hand experience."

A blonde reporter wearing a grey suit jacket, with a black knee-length skirt, a white button-up blouse and a microphone in her hand appeared on the screen beneath the tag "Earlier This Morning." She pointed up at the sun with her free hand. The sun was now an Azure blue, giving her skin a bluish tinge.

As the reporter and her television crew stared up at the blue light, she suddenly froze for a second and then doubled over in obvious pain, clutching her stomach in agony, as her body began to convulse. The first sign that she was changing was her hair, as the blonde color darkened to a chocolate brown and then into a raven black. Her hair, which was pulled back into a ponytail, suddenly began growing long and thicker, bursting out of the hair-tie as the strain became too much for it, letting her hair hang freely all the way down it her waist. Then, as the reporter was still leaning over, her visible skin darkened into a light bronze tan and all blemishes and imperfections vanished. The reporter let out a loud moan and clutched at her chest as her breasts appeared to be expanding. While this was happening, something appeared to be changing under her clothes, when the jacket and blouse suddenly exploded off her frame, revealing something new.

She now wore what looked like a set of armor; leaf-shaped, silver inlaid shoulder plates, a bikini made of chainmail with leather pads underneath, and a pair of leather forearm bracers. Not only was she wearing armor, but her body was looking more fit with her muscles showing perfectly (She is not overly buff, but just enough to show muscle tone). This was followed by a similar evening out of the irregularities in her body and changes in her proportions; she wasn't becoming a supermodel, but it looked to be close to it. Her breasts now looked to be big D-cups, her waist was lean and toned "“ showing a very visible toned six-pack - and her hips were wide. As this finished, something began to happen to her legs, causing her to stumble forward, stepping out of her shoes in the process. Her legs, all the way from her waistline down to her feet, began to convulse and change.

First, her legs grew together, forming a single appendage - bursting apart her nylons and her panties - as her knee joints disappeared and her feet merged together into a point. Then it began to lengthen and grow as wide and her hips and finally stopped when it reached ten-feet in length. At this time green, brown, tan, and dark green scales began forming a diamond pattern, while white scales formed on the underside of the appendage. Her skirt had by then turned into a black leather skirt with a green sash and slits on the sides.

Suddenly the reporter cried out in pain and she clutched at her head as it also began to change. Her ears pulled themselves into two-inch long points, her eyes then began to glow a brilliant green, and the rest of her face shifted into a prettier version of itself. She then loosened the grip on her head and she began to sway from side to side, apparently struck by a wave of dizziness, but before Jon could make out what was happening now, the camera suddenly jerked several feet higher, and the screen became a whiplash blur as the cameraman whirled around to see what was going on.

When the camera settled down to a clear (if shaky) picture, it was focused down at the rest of the news crew. What was striking about the scene was that none of them resembled anything like what had been happening to the reporter. The lower part of the frame was filled with a horse's hindquarters, a Chestnut by the looks of it, and a few strands of long brown hair came into view before the cameraman brushed them away. As if startled by the site, the cameraman fumbled with the camera, nearly dropping it and the screen now showed a pair of full DD-cup breasts, being held by a black leather bikini top. So it wasn't hard to guess that the cameraman had just become a Centauress. The Centauress lifted the camera back up with trembling hands and focused on the two other people in the shot had changed in their own ways.

Standing in the middle of a pile of shredded clothes, was a beautiful Elvish maiden. She had long silver hair that she had pulled back into a long braid, silver-blue eyes glittered from a pretty face and a sleeveless leather tunic and leggings encased a very voluptuous and fit body. In her right hand she held a long bow and a quiver full of arrows hung from her back. Resting in its sheath, tied to a leather belt, was a gold hilted sword. She stood in a stance that almost seemed regal like, which only enhanced her beauty even more.

Beside the Elven warrior, stood a short and stout Dwarf "“ Jon imagined that he looked like Gimli from lord of the rings, with the same type of armor and with blonde hair, beard and blue eyes "“ wielding a scared battle-axe and a round iron shield.

After giving the audience a good look at the goings-on backstage (and probably upon realizing she was still broadcasting,) the camerawoman turned back around to show the reporter. The camera then showed that the reporter had fully changed into a female Naga. Her lower half a ten foot long snake tail, with a diamond pattern of greens and browns. The upper half a voluptuous human woman, with long black hair flowing down her back, large full breasts and a slim, toned waist. In the hand that was holding her microphone, was now a long wooden staff with a large glowing emerald green jewel held on one end by what looked like four small twisted roots.

She was staring at the camerawoman, when her glowing eyes seemed to shift their focus to the side. She suddenly tensed, eyes wide, as she began shouting, though since she didn't have her microphone anymore so it was hard to hear her, but Jon was able to pick up the words, 'Grolm's,' and, 'Attack,' before the Centauress dropped the camera and the Naga reporter slithered quickly off the screen.

The Camera hit the ground, miraculously still working and obviously on its side, as the frame on the TV was sideways. The screen showed the female Elf launching her arrows and the Dwarf swinging his axe at a swarm of ugly creatures. They looked to be short, stubby beasts that seemed to be bi-peddled wolves with hunched over backs, rippling muscles under shaggy and dirty fur, and glowing red eyes. The 'Grolm's' wore scrappy looking chainmail and wielded a variety of dented, knicked and rusted weapons; maces, axes, swords, spears, daggers and cleavers.

The screen then showed the reporter as she slithered toward the horde and, thrusting her staff forward, hurled a fireball of green flames, from the stone at the head of her staff. The fireball exploded as soon as it collided with the road, sending the wolf-like Grolm's flying in every direction.

"What are we going to do?" asked Jon's father Mark, shutting off the TV. "We can't hide in here forever. We need food; there's enough in the refrigerator to last us...?"

"One day," replied his wife Linda. "One and a half if we stretch it. I was going to go shopping today, but I can't now. I just hope this thing stops when the sun goes down."

Jon ran back upstairs. If the stone could affect the sun this one time, maybe it could do it again! Maybe he could fix this mess! He had just reached the second floor and was about to run into his room, when a voice spoke up behind him, "Jon? What's going on?"

Jon turned around and his eyes widened as he got a good look at the person behind him.
