"Yes, Jon. I'm a Twi Lek," said Karyn as she sniffed and wiped her eyes.
Jon stared down at her in shock, not really believing that the beautiful being below his window was his best friend. Karyn started to fidget as he continued to stare at her like she was some animal and the tears began to fall faster, until she was practically sobbing. Jon finally noticing his friends disposition, shook himself out of his daze.
"Karyn, why don't you come on up and we can talk," suggested Jon in a concerned voice.
Karyn sniffed, wiped the tears from her eyes and nodded. She quickly scaled the side of the vine covered wall - Jon's mom had planted some flowering vines two years ago and they quickly covered the whole wall - and pulled herself up onto the window sill. Once she was inside and the window was shut, Jon looked Karyn over once more, still taking in the changes she had gone through.
From her toes to the tips of her lekku, Karyn's skin was colored white, as white as winter snow and it looked smooth and flawless; not one blemish or imperfection. Karyn apparently had shrunk an inch or two - her original height had been 5'8", now she looked somewhere around 5'5" or 5'6" - the top of her head now reached Jon's nose instead of his forehead. Her once green eyes were now a striking silvery-blue that seemed to sparkle like ice on a sunny day.
Her clothes had also changed, just like the reporters had. In place of her usual baggy sweater was a small, skin tight, light blue silk halter top that pushed up on her breasts and enhanced her hourglass figure. an opening in the shape of a diamond generously exposed her D cup cleavage. A silver head dress - similar to the reporters - was worn on her head, almost like a silver headband. On her legs Karyn wore a light blue ankle length skirt that had slits on both sides all the way up to her hips, which showed off her wider hips and thicker thighs and long smooth legs. Karyn wore nothing on her feet, hinting that going around bare foot wasn't going to be a problem.
Jon quickly finished his examination and looked back up into Karyn's wintery eyes, that had started leaking tears again.
"Jon, I'm scared," whimpered Karyn, "I woke up this morning to the sun being a different color and rushed over here to see if you knew anything about it. I had went only two blocks when I was suddenly overcome by a strange sensation and then... I turned into the Twi-Lek you see before you now."
Karyn looked back up at Jon and noticed that her friend was finding the floor to be interesting, too interesting. She narrowed her eyes as she stepped toward Jon, her hips swaying seductively unconsciously - as her new race was wont to do.
"Jon-boy," she said in a suspicious tone, "You didn't have anything to do with the way the sun is and my change, did you?"
Right about now Jon was wishing he could sink down into the floor, anything to get away from Karyn's chilling glare. He began to pull on the collar of his shirt, for some reason his clothes were beginning to feel tight, almost as if they were to small for him.
"Did You?" Karyn asked a bit more heatedly.
Now Jon was sweating, his shirt was starting to feel tight across his chest and his muscles were beginning to burn, he pulled on the collar of his shirt once more; not noticing how the biceps on his right arm seemed to be swelling very slowly. He then cleared his throat.
"Now, Karyn if you would let me expla-!" Jon clamped a hand over his mouth as his eyes widened in shock. Karyn let out an involuntary gasp and froze, not believing her ears for a second.
"J-Jon, did you just speak..." Karyn couldn't even finish her question.
"Am I now speaking in a Coruscanti accent? Yes I believe I am," Jon said in wonder, it was then that he looked down and noticed the few changes in his own body.
