"Oh gods... Oh gods, oh GODS..." - Said Lucas as she ran around the galley, looking at the stars outside, at the vacuum of space. Her galley, her Wings, was now somewhere between the Moon and Venus, though she had no real way of knowing that quite yet, as both were, due to the distances, quite indistinguishable from stars now. It navigated atop an iridescent "force" that seemed to be a reaction of energy fields and the magic of the ship herself.

Neruite giggled.

"Breathe, Lucas..."

Lucas walked back into the bridge, looking at its many controls.

"I know how to use them. Why do I know how to use them? I mean, I don't have practice, yet, but..."

"Because, dear, this is your ship. This is yours and its ways and yours are intuitively linked now." - Said Neruite.

"This is it, isn't it? I... I have... I..." - She then looked at some three-dimensional maps on a screen. The Solar System. The Galaxy. The Galactic superclusters. And, finally, their location in the region of the Universe. - "Oh, my God, I'm just so small! And... Wait, why are these dates here?"

Neruite smirked.

"I wondered when I should tell you that it travels through time as well..."

"WHAT???" - Asked Lucas, completely befuddled.

Neruite giggled.

"That face right there, that mix of shock, happiness and childlike wonder, that, Lucas, dear, is part of why I gave you your ship."

"I... This... All of time and space, everything that ever happened or ever will..." - Said Lucas - "But... What if I changed history and created a paradox? Or harmed stuff and so on?" - The thought of how she nearly destroyed everything came back to her.

"The ship itself prevents this. A big paradox creates a momentary parallel universe that collapses back unto this one with no harm. A smaller one just... Changes history locally." - Said Neruite.

"Still... Everything... I... I have everything..." - Said Lucas, giggling, half giddy and half shocked.

"Where do you want to go first?" - Asked Neruite - "Creating a wormhole should make the trip quite quick..."

"First... The Pillars of Creation. Then... Uhm..." - Lucas blushed - "I kinda... Owe myself something if I can go back in time. I might want to get Cass too..."

A small apartment in Brazil, before the Iridescent Sun

Lucas, a fairly chubby male freelance translator, walked up to the door of his apartment and opened it after some insistent knocking.

"Hey, how may I hel-WHAT THE FUCK!!!"

To be sure, pre-Iridescent Sun, most people's lives were normal. Which meant seeing an angel wasn't exactly commonplace.

"Shut up, let me in and relax." - Said the sexy female angel, grabbing Lucas and kissing him deeply - "A LOT of people have told me to do this throughout my life, so I am!"

Lucas (the male) reciprocated, blushing and not quite able to decide if he should make out with the angel or call a psychiatrist, but he decided on the former on account of, well, sexy female.

Lucas (the angel) pushed Lucas (the male) onto his bed and took off her clothes.

Lucas (the male) would later wake up and think it was a very weird, vivid and wonderful dream. Until the day he changed, that is.

"Thanks for making sure I'd not have kids, Neruite." - Said Lucas, giggling as the memories of it all from the male's perspective entered her mind - "I quite enjoyed it..."

Cass giggled.

"You are soooo male inside. The very second thing you think of when you get a ship that can go anywhere and anywhen is to take us out to do our past selves..."

"Hey, in my defense, I did take you to the Pillars of Creation first..." - Said Lucas, smirking - "Plus it makes for a great retort when people tell me to go fu-"

Neruite smiled.

"I'm pretty sure you two will have the time for nobler pursuits..."

"Well... What do you say, Cass?" - Asked Lucas.

Cass smiled.

"I say..." - She picked a galaxy at random, pointing at the map - "This one!"

"To THAT one!" - Said Lucas, smiling and pushing buttons and pulling levers, the light of her halo flaring up as it synced with the crow's nest - "Neruite, we'll be back in a few hours... Or five minutes."
