Julian was in a very angry mood.

The wolf howled in rage, though if anyone were to watch it, they would have seen a feral wolf howling at the moon.

"It isn't fair," he said to himself.

Of course the world was not fair. He knew that. He didn't get the breaks, the chances, the ability to be a god among mortals... He knew what he wanted. It was to write the rules, rather then play by them. The wolf had a way of sensing power vacuums, even as a human. As a wolf that strange sense had become far stronger. The urge to lead a pack to greatness... his pack...

yet he was a lone wolf, and a powerful angel had shown him just how utterly powerless a creature as him was. His mind was still reeling from the fear, of someone pressing a gun into his face- as well as making the whole of reality bend around him, just to make a point.

He had wondered between the suburbs and the wilds, to try and work out where he belonged. Was he supposed to tame the wilds with his own territory, and thereby accumulate power? He had tasted completely feral life, and realised it just wasn't for him. There was something crushingly... depressing about it- and it made him stink.

So now he wondered past streets in the dead of night. His scent caught wind of something... a fair number of people had passed by this particular street. The wolf could sense tension, and a fair amount of exhaust from cars long gone. something built up here. Some kind of commotion must have happened, but it was over.

Then the wolf caught another scent. Something that he should not have been able to sense... yet it was definitely there. It was the scent of the moon, mixed in with a number of other smells. The memory of the moon dust made his bile rise and he flexed his muscles. If that angel was around, he would have to incapacitate her before she did any trick like before. Either that, or flee. The wolf's instincts were in conflict, and now he truly knew what fight or flight was. Still his human-greed was prevalent, and he knew he had to find what this was.

The wolf climbed the garden, eager to get a visual on his quarry...

... only to see a simple robe on a clothes line. It looked like it had been given a very gentle wash, and was made of an alien type of silvery fabric. Fabric that to his eyes, had to be valuable. He hunched down carefully to make sure nobody saw him... did the angel live here?

He observed the silvery fabric and realised it was not the same clothes as the angel girl... but something else. Could it belong to one of her allies? Julian wasn't sure, but this robe might hold a few answers on the nature of their power. Could it actually have magic in it? The material was as nothing he had ever come across. It was silken smooth.

He grabbed the dress quickly.

If it had been to the moon, the robe might have some kind of power... He decided he best find a discreet place to try it.

Mrs Collins heard a commotion outside the garden, and quickly went to investigate. There didn't seem to be anything but-

"-Oh no!" she cried. Someone had stolen Anneza's dress!
