magic girl Two, also known as Morgan waited patiently at the top of the house. The roof had a small incline, but she somehow kept her footing. The wind blew across her dark hair, as she took in feeling of...

... being herself?

In a way, that is what it was. It wasn't that she had become a magic girl, it was more like she had found who she was. It was new certainly, but not unsurprising. She glanced down at the ground at the young girl Becca. "Hurry up dear," she said rolling her eyes.

The young child vaulted up, several feet into the air, then used her hands to keep her balance. "Ah!" Becca gasped steadying herself, and praying nobody was looking up her skirt.

"Oh come on. It isn't that hard." She said shaking her head. Becca always seemed to create so much 'drama' at being a magic girl. Simple things like jumping, running, even using the weapons they had... well, it was quite obvious how to use them. Morgan sighed as she had yet to call forth her own weapon, but she knew it was in there... somewhere.

"W-why are we patrollin' here?" Magic Girl Three asked

Morgan frowned. "I feel like something is out there... something very familiar." That strange feeling again. Why was this so familiar? Something she should know... something she had seen before? But no, that would be impossible. "Come on Becca, try to keep up."

Becca rolled her eyes as they jumped and vaulted on roof after roof- only to crash into Morgan, who for some reason had stopped. "ow! Wha's it now?"

Morgan stared up at the sky. A small ball of light, growing larger and larger... It was not a comet. Yet she had seen something like this before. Something had happened long ago, when an object like that appeared. Something... something in a book? No... that can't be right. Magic didn't exist until very recently. "Time Devourer..." She whispered to herself.

"Wha'?" Becca asked glancing at the ball of light. It seemed to be growing even larger. And.. there was something even more curious. The colourful lights of the sun seemed to 'stop' around it, or slow down. It was very clear to see that around it, there was almost like a glass halo effect. It was something reflecting off the atmosphere maybe? So it had to exist on the ground.. but how strong it must be, to have such an effect?

Morgan frowned. Why did this feel familiar? "We have to-"

A bright flash, and... the great tick of the universe, stopped.

The origin of Time was a strange concept. A hole outside of time space, when one was already outside space and time. That was where Death, collected sands for.. 'personal' use, if needed (not technically allowed, but in a new age there was always confusion- and enough confusion to set a few things more to liking). Still even she had never been at the exact center. which was where that strange ball of light led into. Idly the goth girl looked at her watch... complete with a leather strap. It looked a little worn through the ages. Humans did like to imagine her in an interesting ways this time. "Hm. Time stopped." She mused. Death watched curiously. Well she now only had to tend to the four mortals. she took out the timer representing Lilly's from her robe, noting how fast it was going. Poor child. "Death by magic indeed," she said shaking her head. Well one problem at a time. She would divulge that issue to Lucas later. The angel had far too much on her plate.

"Sweety," Death said in a little sing-song voice. She loved this voice! "I hate to break it to you, but we best hurry this up." They were standing on the roads of infinity, stretching from a central nexus point. All roads let to that central point... the Time Nexus. Yet they had not got here first. The 'magic animal girl' in what was clearly a fake costume, guarded with her 'pink cat' animal companion were already here...

Lilly had never felt so free. All her troubles felt like they were just gone. She didn't remember quite what the problem was any more. She was free to be herself, free to just be happy. She wanted to help her friends. She felt special, and willing to protect reality from the Enemy, and now she actually had the means. She could never have experienced this before, and it was just so wonderful to do this now. She wouldn't end up being put to sleep this time! It was so exhilarating, even as she looked up at the agent who had a frown on his face. Why were grown-ups always unhappy when they looked at her? Well it didn't matter. She was a magic girl!

"And... what is your mission here?" Asked Hawkins, suddenly very concerned.

"Protectin' reality of course!" The child said smiling. She was supposed to take her companion to the center of this place right?

The strange pink cat seemed a little annoyed at Hawkins and decided to bite his trousers.

"No! Bad kitty!" Lilly said pulling her away. "Sorry mister," she said sheepishly.

"Rowar" the cat said raising her heckles.

Lucas sighed. "Kid, you have no idea how much is at stake. Please step away from the cat." The angel girl had her sword in hand, as she saw to what she had to do. To save reality, she had to attack this thing. She expected it to be... bigger? But somehow she knew, this thing was extraordinarily dangerous.

"I wont let you hurt her!" Lilly shouted, huffing like the child she was. This was her magic companion! She was going to be helping her friends and- and-

The pink cat sped away quickly faster. It sensed pray... something bigger was now on its mind.

Lilly gasped as she tried to run after her. "Come back!"
