Steven looked in some surprise as the strange large flower woke up. She seemed to react with a little shyness that there were strangers in her garden, but for some reason became a little more curious and intrigued when she realised they were fellow plant changed. Steven was a little similarly intrigued, though unsure what to say.

"Hello," said Paul looking to them. Her voice was rather high pitched, and yet soothing at the same time. She sounded like such a delicate flower, despite being so large.

Mrs Dagueree nodded in greeting, smiling back. "It's a pleasure to meet you," She said intrigue apparent on her features as she took in the soft curves of the central figure inside the plant. She seemed a bit shy to show her breasts having one hidden over an arm. However this quickly came to pass, though she still seemed just a little awkward about being naked. Maybe not quite so much as to be expected though. It was at this point Steven realised her own body was technically naked except for some underwear that caused a bit of chaffing of her flower parts there. She dare not wonder how comfortable her mother was of this whole affair- and quietly realised she had never seen her mother use any of her clothing drawers...

"It's- nice to meet you too," Said Steven a little shyly after a subtle elbow from her mother. She was staring, she couldn't help it. She was still a little self conscious at the sound of bees all around her. It was a sound she was still instinctively fearful of, ever since she had been stung by one. Still- it was only the sound of this flower's wife... (did that even sound right?)

"So... does your wife have a hive somewhere?" Mrs Dagurre glanced around curiously.

"Yes, inside the house." explained Paul. "I honestly can't imagine what it must be like, to be like her..." she said lazily stretching, embracing more of the wonderful sunlight.

Once again, Steven couldn't help but stare. But- it wasn't quite the feeling she expected. She wasn't quite sure what she was feeling, but tried not to let it bother her for now. "W-what's it like?" She asked.

"Well..." Paul leaned onto her side, still held by the stalk part of her lower body. "I guess I do miss being able to move. But I don't feel that bad about it any more." It was odd. She used to be quite active, but... all her needs here, were being attended to. She produced her nectar, her wife provided honey... but she was still a person with drives and ambitions. Being a rooted flower did put a bit of difficulty in doing much though. Her wife always gave her the news of what transpired though, and she tended to cover a great deal of ground. "I'm content enough. My wife helps me feel part of things still," She said smiling.

Steven nodded, though still found it a little concerning. For once, she was a little glad that she was stuck with her strange girly legs. thinking about them though rubbing against each other and her pink petals made her blush.

"Have you started fruiting at all?" asked Paul curious.

Steven coughed "W-what?" She said surprised at the bluntness of the question.

Mrs Daguerre chuckled. "Please excuse her, she's still terribly new at all this... and no, not yet. Though Steven seems to produce seeds under... stressful situations." she chuckled a little.

"Mom!" Steven cried. It... wasn't funny!

Mrs MacMillan's swarm gave a bob of their heads. "Mm, some plants do that- but they still will fruit later if given the chance. so you haven't yet experienced your first fruiting?"

"Not yet no," said Mrs Daguerre. "I am looking forward to it though. I'm sure it will be an interesting experience."

"I- I don't want to have fruit growing on my head," said Steven annoyed.

"Well... it might now grow on your head," said Paul thoughtfully.

Actually, Mrs Macmillan had a vague feeling that their fruiting stages were very close. A bee sense maybe? Steven probably held it back due to her stressful lifestyle, that was somewhat incomparable with her new body- and was that insecticide she detected around her? Very minute amounts, but it wouldn't do plant changed any good. The poor girl... It was little wonder her petals were a little dull. However the sunlight, and just 'being' in her garden, seemed to bring greater health to the other flower girls. Perhaps something to do with this environment? She wondered off hand if her honey could have any healing properties.... but that was bordering on some rather, intimate ... aspects.

Steven shuddered. The thought of where a fruit might grow had crossed her mind. It.. it scared her. Still her mother seemed to be 'okay' with it. She didn't feel anything unusual as yet, just... bees always trying to go after her flowery parts. She glanced at the various stamens around the other plant, and that simple fear of how easy other plants cross-breed entered her mind. Still she had some vague assurance that at least, such things have not happened among sentient plants ever... though developing a new fruit, was certainly not unheard of. Yuck.

They continued to converse, comparing and listening to their new and different lifestyles. Though Steven blushed practically the entire way through it.

Lilly fumed as she played 'dolls' with Melanie. This was... degrading. Not to mention that Melanie seemed to be following a script that did not allow for any free styling and completely missed the point of 'playing'. She tucked in her uniform dress, feeling it dig into herself as she sat on the chair, wishing she was somewhere else. She wasn't going to learn any magic here. Even from the incredibly 'powerful' magic girl or whoever she was.

"...and the tea party ends," said Melanie looking maybe a little pleased? A little unusual on what is normally such an emotionless looking girl.

Lilly thought she could at least try to inject 'something' fun in it. "... and a dinosaur suddenly swoops in an'-"

Melanie blinked. "No. That isn't dinosaur. It's named Shirley."

"I think she's a dinosaur" Lilly said looking at girly doll. Okay so it wasn't really a dinosaur... if only it was! Or at least something not girly. Honestly here she was playing dolls ... maybe she should just go home now.

Melanie shook her head. "You do it right. Jenny explained. You do it right to play with me. Promised you play with me. Now we start again."

...This was torture! The squirrel girl thought squirming a bit. Yet- part of her did kind of... like it? Some tiny small part was vaguely amused by Melanie's playing. It was a tiny seed of doubt, and it was enough to at least try to do things her way. Slowly she started to play with her. The lion man came inside to check on them and smiled seeing what certainly seemed to be, just two girls playing.
