Selena, the goddess... that was how they viewed them.

God implied that they could do anything. She hated to disappoint Lucas with the truth. The angel of vengeance had certain... expectations. However now even she was realising, just how powerless they can be, in the face of a Destiny. There were always certain... things that couldn't be changed. Things that had to be. Usually it happened when a future result of an action could not be ignored, due to universal consequences. But sometimes, things just happened... not because they conceded them to happen, but because things really did just happen.

The goddess watched over the Earth silently, and to her daughter Artemis. She was pointing at her, trying to show her to her other Mother. Selena gave a a little wave to the bewildered human woman, who just... refused to see the goddess that was the moon. It wasn't her fault, and she would tell Artemis that of course. It was simply the way certain people were. Artemis was as much her own daughter as the mortal woman's... it was a complicated situation. While she was quite comfortable with the notion, mortals seemed to hold some strange significance to how things had to be in their own eyes.

"Our poor clay," She mused softly. The life that they treasured, all life... and the humans down there, that became the thinking clay. Realising, that they are clay once more. To be reshaped, re-imagined... the new level of their existence. She shifted her gaze to the one named Lilly.

It was indeed, a strange situation. For Lucas to be given such a power. Yet she sensed the Feminine's Force in this. That goddess's power was that much closer to the Old Ones, but such power made one further removed from reality itself- and it would take a longer time, for her to rise. Lucas's sword could cleave destiny... Cleaving destiny however, was not simply breaking it. The young angel needed time to understand the burden of such a power. Prevent one thing from happening, and another act might happen. Was that not the lesson they learned, in ages past?

So... Lilly must die... because at some point, they were going to be in a situation where it would be either her or Jenny. The Number Four... Undoing one undoes the other. It was clear that loosing Four was not acceptable... but neither was loosing Lilly. She couldn't be sure if there was some form of future meddling, to create this situation. Indeed, she had sensed a mortal from 100 years ago fated to die, yet somehow... that fate was undone. She was happy really, to see it happen. She had to. It showed, that destiny could be changed.

Morgana will never know, who Selina was really watching a century ago. That her success or failure was simply a... way to inspire, if one can change fate. That the witch managed it, even accidentally, gave her reason to believe it could be done for Lilly- without costing Jenny's life.

The moon goddess once more entered the Room of Fate, at the four powers that once were and always be... She sensed nothing malevolent in them. These beings were incapable of it. They had only one real charge, and that was to maintain a certain 'balance'. Though what that balance involved, eluded the goddess- all gods. It was something beyond simply good and evil. "Please," She said quietly. "there must be some other way."

She felt a gentle presence in her mind. She was as an ant to a greater power. Is this what Venus sensed, when she communed with them? It was so hard to follow... But there was no choice. The sheer weight of fate was too heavy for a god to lift... even one like Selena.

"I will find some way," She said in the end.

Anneza re-positioned her dress, making sure everything was all set correctly. She realised she had to be a little cautious on what she could wear given that the wrong kind would still give her a build up of static. It wasn't that hard to work out what was suitable. Free flowing clothes seemed to be what her body needed. Things that clinged to the skin, were incompatible- even if made by the same strange material she wore now. Though thankfully, A bra and pants seemed small enough to not be too much of an issue. Not that she wanted to wear the bra.

"Anneza," called the wolf-police officer.

Anneza glanced to her.

"You okay?" Will tilted her head slightly, with an ear twitch.

The space-girl gave a vague nod. She could sort of understand what the wolf was asking. Not completely, but the tone of concern was conveyed.

Will nodded and let her be once more. She knew she wouldn't be here for much longer... but was glad that the space girl seemed to be doing better then before.

Anneza sighed... it was nice to know someone cared in this world about her. Even if she was being paid for it- (damn she knew how to put a dampener in every thought) Right now though, the space-girl was putting serious thought into seeing her parents. She knew she wouldn't be able to talk to them, but.. seeing them again ... would it bring any comfort? She knew she could probably go see them very easily. Another country was easy to visit to her now. She didn't suffer from the elements- at least when flying. Apparently.

How strange to be given so much freedom, but to have nowhere to go, nowhere to visit, nobody to speak to... she was in a prison made of her own mind. A prison of language.

she smoothed her green hair over her hands. It felt so silky and smooth. she then felt the strange plastic hair-band. She gave it another tug, trying to pry it loose... but it wouldn't budge. She wondered idly if it was the reason she couldn't speak- that 'other' language any more. So maybe if it came off... Maybe there was some trick to it? She tried to pry underneath her hair touching her scalp, pushing, and even willing it to come off, but it didn't move even a tiny bit. She couldn't even tell quite where the damn thing was connected. Was she part robot or something? Next time she goes to the doctors, maybe they could tell her? There was a little hope that it wasn't connected to her sensitive and nerve-connected antenna... but she couldn't tell completely. Not even by touch... which was very strange indeed.

The space girl did a few chores around the house. After her change, she found cleaning the place a little harder. She used to like keeping things nice and orderly, but things had suffered a lot lately. The dishes hadn't been done in ages. Anneza glanced around for something to hold onto as she floated across the sink. Small manoeuvres like this were easy now- It was trickier to stay in one place though. She could easily push herself away accidentally. She didn't have any tether here either. She only put one in the bathroom- because frankly, without it things could get very messy.

She carefully rinsed the cups and plates, allowing her mind to wonder some more. Her bare feet rose a little to about thirty five degrees, as her arms were outstretched to the sink. It was hard not to move muscles that moved her in the air a little. She was made to be free-floating. She rose her knees up again to brake, but she couldn't hold that position for long. In the end she just pulsed left, and right, trying to keep herself center and straight.

Finally with all the dishes done she made her decision. She'll go visit them... Her parents. right now. There wasn't any point 'calling' them to make sure she could- she wasn't even completely sure they still lived in the old house... has it really been that long since she talked to them?

She glanced back at the mirror to make sure her clothings were decent. The girl in the mirror seemed... odd to her still. She tried to ignore the feeling and opened the front door. Making sure nobody could see her, she gently pushed with her feet upwards, quickly gaining altitude.

From the window, Will watched smiling a little. Maybe the girl would be okay after all.
