"Mmm, nope. You're clear. I'm not affected by this kind of imposition." - Smiled Selene.
"Whew. No offense, but being a goddess sounds like hard work." - Said Cass.
"None taken." - Said Selene. The trio walked a while longer, the surface once again becoming slightly more chaotic. They actually saw the three chaos beings this time again, and Selene used a portal to bypass that.
"No offense, Lucas, but one of these fights is enough." - Said Selene, smirking.
"You said it."
The trio kept on.
"Say. Does that seem like an astral dreadnought from D&D; to anyone else?" - Said Lucas, grabbing her lance, but quite scared, and pointing at... a creature. For Lucas, the creature looked like an immense cyclopical creature with some sort of natural armor and two arms that ended in two huge opposing claws each.
"Oh. Meet the local fauna..." - Said Neruite - "We don't really have a name for this creature. For me it looks like a sandworm from Dune with one barbed whip-like thing on top of its head. We... don't know much about it, really. You don't destroy the universe if you kill it, I've heard of a few gods doing it, but I highly doubt any of us has the power to. There's something else. I can't seem to create a portal past it. Something's blocking the way."
"Astral dreadnought for me, too, Selene. I suppose it makes sense. Outside reality, huge and primitive." - Said Cass - "More importantly, what do we do now?"
Selene and Lucas exchanged looks.
"I think it's safe to say we have no idea." - Said Lucas - "Its head would look great above my fireplace, if I had a fireplace and if my wall could handle a head the size of a pool table. We can't fight it..."
