Minus Four... lay on the grass, staring up at the sky. The sun looked like it had been swallowed... it distracted her with many primal fears she never knew she had in this body. The dark, the night... the absence of sight...

It- she felt- she didn't know what she felt. How exactly was one supposed to prepare for this? It wasn't supposed to be this way!

Cast out... rejected, due to its corruption. No longer part of the whole, but adrift. Its thoughts were its own now. It thought it now understood how this plan worked in the past... anyone in this situation, had nothing to lose. It also realised why there was no memory of what happened 'after'. If one succeeded or not, the corruption could not allow re-integration. It was sacrificed... made into this.

Yet this universe was different to any other kind of existence it had known. It was filled with the Namers... those with sentience- and a highly malleable universe. Somehow observation affected things here. Was it now one of those namers though?

She cried and sobbed. "Take me back..." She begged. There was nobody to hear her. She sensed it. There was nobody there! Not even within. Just her own thoughts reflected back to her with insistant questions. Why... Why... WHY!

If her mission was completed, she would now die, and await whatever fate awaited these creatures in this world. A thought that filled it with the greatest primal fear any creature could have... and it did not want to die. Therefore, it could not complete its mission.

This meant she was purposeless... which of course... meant...

Minus four raised her left hand, seeing the fingers become translucent. Yes... it had begun. It's energy was starting to react to the new situation. What would happen after she was unravelled?

"What's happenin' to her?" Asked Jenny taking a slight step forward.

Tetra jumped in front of the magic girl. "It might be a trick! Stay back Jenny," She approached tentatively, as she looked at the empty eyes of the child as Minus four seemed to be slowly fading away. There was a pain in her expression. A great deal of pain. Not to mention anger, rage, and fear.

Artemis carefully walked up to them, her moon like features glistening in the surreal twilight of the eclipse. "Mother- er- says she knows why."

They all looked to her.

The moon-girl tried her best to explain what her mother was saying. But she was using some really difficult words! Slowly she tried to relay the words to her friends hoping it would make more sense to them. "Um- she's not a real person... It's cause negative numbers only exist to serve a... function? They are 'abs- abs- absstrat''..." She said struggling with that last word. "She doesn't want to do what she's supposed to do any more." Artemis blinked. Wasn't that a good thing?

"Can't we help her?" Asked the magic girl. She didn't want someone that could easily be her sister to just die!

"I dunno..." said Artemis. She had to ask her mother... but she was strangely silent on this.

The cat girl Tetra seemed to understand what Artemis was trying to explain. "Im... I'm sorry Jenny. There's nothing we can do. She wasn't born into this world. She doesn't exist in the same way as you. She's like a spirit made flesh, and now that spirit is breaking apart," It was like something existing as energy but only in potential.

Minus four saw her hand disappear entirely, as the unravelling continued. It was loosing sensation... No! It didn't want to lose any of it! There had to be an answer... it was desperate!

Do you want to survive? it heard a voice say.

It didn't know what that voice was... if it was one of the Old Ones or the New Ones... or indeed, just itself speaking to itself. Was someone offering it a way out? Was this a trick?

"Yes..." it whispered. Any existence was better then nothing, right? If it could find a place to stay in... but the only place it could go was an integration with Four- to perform the anhialation. There was no other place for it to be in...

Go to sleep...

Sleep? What was sleep? Compelled by the words though, it was suddenly losing consciousness. No! It had been tricked! It tried to fight it.. but whatever manner of magic or spell was too strong! It had to fight! But...

It slept.

Behave...

"God..." Robert said as she saw the scene. There was a ball of light, in the clearing. A girl dressed in the strangest clothes she had ever seen, as well as a small cat like creature, and an insect woman? What in the name of the Lord was all this!

The ball of light suddenly launched itself at Lilly. The squirrel girl blinked, barely even seeing it. She saw Jenny shout and rush towards her. It impacted directly on Lilly's chest, but it didn't hurt exactly... she felt a slight tingling then nothing more.

Artemis blinked in shock at the interruption of the devil woman's arrival, and Lilly. She then looked up as the sun started to show itself. The eclipse was ending as quickly as it arrived...

"Are you okay Lilly?" Asked Jenny nervously.

"Um- yeah I'm fine," said the squirrel. "What.. happen'd?"

"I... dunno," admitted the magic girl. "Tetra?" She didn't want to involve Lilly in this! She could see her fur had been burned slightly by magic.. did her friend actually get in a fight with her doppelgÀnger? How in the world did she survive?

"Um... I dunno either," said the cat. Did it just go inside Lilly? That could be really bad! She glanced at the moon girl.

Artemis shook her head. "Er- Wasn't me or my other mom either," She said perplexed.

Lilly patted herself making sure everything was okay. Everything appeared to be fine... there wasn't anything wrong. At least not that she could tell.

Minus four felt peaceful here. It was all greyish cloud, potential energies similar to what it used to know. Various streams of thoughts and yet illusive images rushed past it. "Where am I?" She asked. It was not the same as using her voice, she was quite glad of that. Using muscles was starting to become a little.. strange.

A dream said the voice. A dream that has yet to start...

"Who are you?" she asked hoping to get some answers.

A friend of the dreamer, the soft voice spoke. She visited me once... she does not remember, few can remember us when they return. She is... compatible with your nature. With a little extra energy from me

The creature became nervous. Clearly it was still not quite what it once was... emotions lingered within it now. "You.. are one of Forces?" She said tensely. Why would she be allowed to come here?

Keep in mind... The voice began as if reading its mind. Which it- probably was. You can do no harm here. You will be allowed to exist... By Lilly's discretion. All she has to do is say the Word... and you will be gone.

"W-What am I supposed to do here? Minus four asked.

Exist... learn... watch her dreams... perhaps with you, she will remember me. It had been... a long time, since I had such an interesting visitor. In time... perhaps you can share your understanding, with the others...
