They were considered contradictions.. enigmas... Voiceless with voice, and an emptiness of energy. The more they were defined, the less they became. This was their advantage, the nameless and formless. That was in the times before, when Fire was fire, and Earth was earth... but humanity changed them... Suddenly elements were Elements...

Lilly tried not to think too much about- her activity just before she came to class. She hated going to the bathroom. It wasn't just the sheer embarrassment of using the girls toilets- which she had to wait before anyone else saw her go in.
Being younger it seemed she had to go a lot more often. Or was that because she was a girl? She had no idea. She still had not got used to her new diet either.. eating a lot of dried things made her think to drink more water then she should. All this just seemed to conspire to needing a bathroom break more often then she used to. Seeing the last girl leave for class, she took her moment to go in quickly.
She had sneaked inside the bathroom and quickly went into the stall, being very careful to move her large tails to the side. She closed her eyes and tried really hard to just not think about it... just pretend nothing was wrong. Nothing was wrong... right?
She sighed as it was all done and cleaned herself up quickly. "T-T-this is disgustin'," She whispered. Doing this as a female was messy... really messy. What made it worse was all the fur she had. Her boy parts were so much easier! If she had them, being an animal probably wouldn't be so bad. But she was stuck with... a thingy that she couldn't see. She didn't really know much about- that mysterious part. It was covered in fur, and hard to make out any detail. It just felt really weird to have nothing there.
She took a moment to look at her reflection in the mirror when she was still thankfully alone. The slim body with large curious eyes and orangy fur... She didn't know what was worse... being a girl, or being an 'animal'. She imagined she would be that ugly buck-toothed girl everyone was going to make fun of in the future. Her top front teeth were a little larger then the others... and they were just small teeth right? Would she lose this set again? Or did that apply to what she was? She just didn't know! She felt scared the more she thought about it. Was she ugly? Why should she care if she was!
"I-Its okay," she said to herself in the mirror. "You got friends.. an' Jenny is nice.. Artemis might change you back too..." In the mean time she would have to be... this. A thought bubbled away in her mind, she wasn't sure where it came from... but... she wondered if she could just be herself in this body? Was it really going to be that different?
Adam thought of her options trying to stay calm... no matter how she went about it, it really was impossible to dress herself. She just didn't have it in her to go naked either... she might be okay doing that in her own house. She couldn't help but feel really low, that her mother was forced to help her in this way. She was a grown man- woman... kind of. She wanted to be independent.
She tossed away the pants with her talons as she walked back to the air-bubble...
make a wish a voice whispered in her head. There's no harm in accepting this change is not for you... become human again... or anything else...
She put her feathered arm onto the orb, as it practically called her. Magic... real magic... it could fix everything! If she worded her wish right...

She gritted her teeth. No.. it was too risky. She didn't think the stone was trying to grant her wishes badly... but rather it was constrained by its nature. A nature she was only just beginning to understand. She pushed the bubble away, resisting the temptation once more. She wasn't going to give up! Besides.. if she did change back, people would wonder how she managed it.. and suspicion would breed all over again.
She sighed and used her talons on the phone roughly. She sadly realised her talons were only good on key-pads and not touch phones... "Hi.. I'm running a bit late," She explained quickly leaning to the speaker.. The conversation was brief but they were still understanding.
Adam just had to get the bus! Then all would be fine. She needed to wear Something. Anything! Finally the inevitable defeat came... there was just no clothes available unless she got her mother to help her again.
She looked down again.. the feathers did cover everything.. hell maybe nobody would even think about it... she wouldn't.. would she? She just wasn't sure... "be a man about it!" She said starting to get angry at herself. it was just flesh! Who cares! She gritted her teeth and stumbled out of the house, not even realising she didn't have her keys to get back in having left them in her pants.
She swallowed. Well.. this was it...
Hiro tried to learn a bit more about her new friend Riko. The strange tiger-taur digital fairy. He still couldn't get over the fact that she was a non-human digital fairy! And a tiger one at that...
Riko looked back a bit worried. She had picked up quite a few of Hiro's memories.. including how he had treated a digital fairy in the past. The more she tried to think on those memories the worse she felt... it added some distrust but she couldn't really let on that she knew about it...
Hiro continued to regard her. "Why... are you a..."
"Four legger?" She asked crossing her arms.
"Y-yeah," Hiro said blushing a bit hoping it wasn't an annoying question.
"You don't know much about digital fairies do you," Riko said shaking her head.
"Not really..." Hiro wasn't sure if anyone actually did. This one claimed to know a lot... but then she was willing to re-program herself. Even if it was nearly disasterous.
Riko gestured to herself. "All digital fairies have 'two' forms. Transmission and Local," She explained."
"You mean like when a fairy suddenly gets wings or something?" Hiro asked intrigued. He had observed the subtle change that happens in fairies when they are about to move... was that considered another state?
"Yep. What you're seeing here is my... equivalent of wings. I guess. I can run in this body as fast as others can fly..."I thought if I re-programmed my appearance in my changed state.. I could distinguish between the different codes better.
Hiro took in this new information. "So... you 'do' have a more normal humanoid form?"
Riko gave a slightly pained look. "Yes... but forget about seeing it."
The cyborg couldn't help but appear curious. "Well.. I wouldn't say anything."
"No..."
