Steven was.. moody. She had done a 'little' further experimenting last night, but... didn't take things.. well... it just embarrassed her to even think of her 'playing' like that...
She thought she could handle it.. she thought she could be okay as long as her mind didn't change. But that just wasn't the case. She had been living in denial... but to accept this was also, in some way giving up, wasn't it? To accept that her body 'felt' things differently... that it 'wanted' a different thing... that it wasn't the pleasure of a man, but of a woman.
she had taken a seat next to the window, allowing her body to absorb the needed sunlight. It felt nice to have, but it didn't really cheer her up. She just wanted to be back to normal now. Maybe she should she the councillor... but it was just too embarrassing. How can she see her about something as personal as this?
Ben was sitting next to her as well. The rat boy seemed to be taking everything in stride. It's not as if he had any 'real' issues. "Hey dude," he asked casually. "You okay?"
"Dude... I wish," She said channelling a bit of her old self. It felt good to do it with Ben if only for a while.
"How many people still go to school at night do you think?" Wondered Ben.
"Does it matter... you can't avoid the sunlight forever. They'll all end up as freaks eventually" She said maybe a little too loudly. A few of the other students glanced at her, some offended, a few sympathetic. Steven scrunched a little lower ashamed to have said the word 'freak'... but it was how she felt at the moment.
Ben twitched his rat-ears. "It's not so bad."
"You didn't lose your d-"
The teacher came in at that moment. For some reason, Steven swallowed. She still didn't really understand this teacher. The strange presence she had was unsettling. Yet at the same time, the 'flower' parts of her really seemed to 'like' her. It was so strange.
"Good morning class," the teacher said with a enigmatic smile. "We will continue our study of Rome, by looking at the gods they once worshipped... and of course, you will note the many things we have taken to name 'after' them..."
Andy was nervous. The rabbit girl knew she absolutely had to get this job... or...
She hadn't worked in quite a long time. What if they felt she had gone past her shelf life? What if.. what if... she shook her head. If she had any chance, she had to be confident. She had to show some determination... she once had that before. Before she was laid off...
She still remembered her training. She had done all kinds of things before. The problem was that she didn't do anything in between jobs except drink... she could do a little white lie and just say she was taking care of a growing family. But- that might actually 'hurt' her chances as a woman. Wouldn't it?
She introduced herself to the receptionist, who gave her a long look.
"We've been expecting you. Please, take a seat" She said pleasantly enough.
Andy sat down and waited.
Hiro watched as the daemon started shift and change... it was all quite surreal. He knew there was a topography of sorts to cyberspace, that he was indeed part of, but there were aspects he couldn't really observe. It was like looking inside one's own mind, the universe observing itself. It could not be done wholly, only in small measured steps.
The daemon's skin started to peel away, revealing.. something else. It started to take a position on all fours, as the top part of it's body stretched out. Hiro gasped as the sensual form of a woman started to show on the upper torso...
... this was not a 'human' type digital fairy. Did that mean they could be as diverse as they were in the real world?
Digitised fur started to get rendered. Hiro off hand wondered, how the hell he managed the computing power to manage that. Hair was... tricky. Fur even more so. Yet there it was, all perfectly rendered. Clearly tapping into the power of the subconscious must have boosted the computational abilities he had.
The cyborg held the strange digital fairy in his hand, trying to will it to live... "Come on... you can do it. You're almost there," he whispered. It was like having a child in his hand... he felt nervous. What if he did it wrong? Please...
Hiro realised the creature was some kind of 'cat-taur'- although not quite. Her upper body while certainly resembling human, had a number of qualities that almost blended her cat-like lower body. There were tiger stripes situated on the sides of her bare-skin. It gave her a very Amazon like quality.
Hiro thought she was quite attractive... even if she was clearly on the very exotic side. A very thin cloth of a band covered her torso, doing very little to hide the curves she had. Hiro noted her cat-torso seemed to have additional breasts. He didn't want to disturb the creature as it re-formed... her body was still in some state of flux, as information began to coalesce into physical matter. Was this her original form? Or did Hiro's subconscious drive it... to this. would it change further?
Hiro realised another strange result... this digital fairy, didn't take a great deal of run time to use. It was almost as if it was part of his own programming. 'Compatible', having been essentially recompiled under his own software from a state of near death.
The cat-taur looked up in confusion. "W-Where am I..."
