Cass entered the principal's office, smiling to herself. Principal Erin looked up slowly from his papers, his sand turning animated and glittering a bit more.

"I see you are in a good mood..." - He said, in the usual slow tone his voice had acquired since the change - "I trust you had a pleasant sleep."

"Yes, Erin, thank you." - Cass smiled - "You sent for me, right?"

"I heard of the demonstration yesterday. I am also aware that you visited it..."

Cass nodded. "Yeah. Did Mary tell you?"

Erin nodded slowly. "I am afraid of this kind of behavior spreading to here. As you are well-aware, we have several angel-changed and demon-changed. Furthermore, other forms can also elicit distrust."

Cass nodded. "Yeah, I got your point. You want to curb this preemptively. That it?"

"Yes... Even some changed are developing prejudices, so far as I know."

Cass sweatdropped, thinking of the turtle man Lucas told her about. "Yeeees, I guess that's right."

Erin paused. "You seem to know something I do not."

Cass blushed. "Oh, yes, well, Lucas, an angel woman I met, told me about a dressing-down she gave this changed fundie that was bothering Rachel."

Erin nodded. "Our Rachel?" - Cass nodded - "Huh. Anyways, it goes to show that the changed also exhibit this kind of behavior, yes. I will need your help, Cass, to curb this kind of thinking here. Before it even begins."

Cass nodded. "I heard no complains, and I was sorta attentive to that, if I may say so myself. Your policy on this was quite clear from the beginning. Most students actually seemed to improve their behavior after the Iridescent Sun. But okay, I'll mention it."

Erin nodded. "Thank you."

Cass was walking to her first class when Rachel went near her, wearing a variation on her top-and-skirt from the night before.

"Hey, Ms. Wilkins." - Rachel smiled impishly - which she seemed to enjoy seeing/feeling rendered in that odd anime reality Cass caused - "Had fun last night?"

Cass nodded - "I and Lucas went for a walk, Rachel. We're at school, though, so, I'm really not gonna go into detail, kay?"

Rachel smirked. "Hey, don't worry. She's nuts, but seems like a nice girl."

Cass smiled lightly. "The same can be said for you or me. This is no world for the fully sane anymore anyways."

"Ooo, deep." - Said Rachel - "What do you mean?"

"The more 'grounded' people seem to be the ones with most difficulty coping with the Sun. When reality changes too fast, one must have... shall we say, some mental flexibility to deal with it."

Rachel nodded. "Right. So if a person is already a bit loose, they can understand a looser reality. But what if they are too out there?"

"Then they see reality going wild and go off the deep end themselves."

Rachel nodded. "So, basically, this is a reality more fit for weird people that are still grounded enough to be sane."

Cass nodded. "Pretty much. Now, most importantly, shouldn't you be in class?"

Rachel nodded, smiling. "Yeah. Yours."

Cass did a double-take, paused and turned fully black and white for a second. "OH CRAP, WE'RE GONNA BE LATE!!!". Colors returned, she grabbed Rachel in a very anime-esque way and began running through the halls, which seemed to become oddly accomodating for this. Rachel giggled the whole way, as the two arrived within miliseconds of the school bell ringing.

"Thanks for the anime ride, Ms. Wilkins. It was a blast!" - Said Rachel.

Cass facefaulted, then got up just as quickly. - "You did this on purpose, didn't you?"

"Mmmmmmaybe." - Rachel smiled as she sat on her desk, her smile even more impish due to the animation. The other students looked at the interaction in some confusion, but shrugged it off.

Cass sighed, a little white cloud appearing from her mouth. It seemed adding "comedy" to her genre might have some unintended side effects. Still, at least she made it in time...
