Cass smiled, making breakfast. The night before had been spectacular. Lucas clearly felt the same way, given how she screamed. Cass giggled to herself; clearly Lucas had little to no experience as a woman, though she was a caring lover, which made it all even more interesting. She was lucky she woke up earlier than Lucas, too; that would give time for her Dramatis Personae power to wear off of her while she slept. She finished making the pancakes and went to wake her up for breakfast...

Cass giggled to herself, watching Lucas sleep, an anime sleep "bubble" appearing in front of her face due to Cass's anime powers. Cass poled the bubble, which burst, making Lucas wake up.

"Hrm?"

"Not a morning person?" - Cass giggled.

"Mgrw... One of the niceties of being a freelance is waking up at 1 PM..." - Lucas said in as sweet a tone as she could muster when mumbling.

Cass smirked. "Yeah, well, I still have to teach class, and I couldn't just leave you here. So rise and shine. I made us breakfast. Hope you don't mind pancakes."

Lucas smiled, the notion of food seemingly awakening her. "One, I love pancakes. Two, quite frankly, after last night, you could have made paper with chili sauce and I'd still not mind it at all."

Cass smirked. "I'll take that as a compliment to at least one of my skills. Now let's go to eat."

Lucas nodded and did her best to help her set the table - with as little as she knew about Cass's apartment, anyways. The two sat down to eat.

"So, Lucas." - Said Cass - "What are your plans for today?"

Lucas shrugged. "I have to check my e-mail, really. I don't know if I got anything to do. If I don't, I'll take the crates home and stay online for a while, I guess. Until, er... Say, when do you... er... never mind." - Lucas paused and blushed.

Cass smirked. "You want to go out with me again, but don't want to sound clingy."

Lucas blushed hard. "H-how did you guess?"

Cass smirked. "For one, the 'until'. Then the 'when do you'. Then the whole fact that you were blushing when you asked. Then the fact that you told me a lot about how you were a geek before changing. Sweetie. You're still a geek. Don't worry, though, so am I and I'm already into you. If you get too clingy, I'll let you know, but I don't think you will. Now. What is it that you wanted to ask me?"

Lucas smiled. "What time do you leave work?"

Cass smiled. "Two thirty. Should be like four thirty in your country. Check that, though. So, if you don't have work, meet me at the church at, like, your five. If you do, e-mail me."

Lucas nodded. "Okay. By the way? Best pancakes I ever ate. I don't know if it's the whole 'you're American, you do that better than Brazilians' thing or the whole anime thing..."

Cass smiled lightly. "Things are more intense in this world I create around me, Lucas."

Lucas nodded. "Mmm. I wonder if you could be able to make things permanently animated or something."

"How so?"

"Well..." - Said Lucas - "I learned to shape my sword through concentration and so on. Maybe your powers can be manipulated somehow. Especially given how strong they are."

"You really like coming up with theories about this kind of thing, don't you?" - Said Cass.

Lucas nodded. "Yep. Anyways, maybe you should try. Research on it too. You seem to have researched a bit, already..."

Cass nodded. "Yes, I did. Never heard of perming texture changes, but I'll keep you posted." - Cass winked - "Who knows. If you ever break up with me, maybe your new girlfriend will be surprised at an angel with an anime pussy..."

Lucas blushed, but smiled.

"Ah, Lois, such a fine morning this is, isn't it?" - Said Lucas, smiling as she entered the Café.

The redheaded matron angel smirked at Lucas. "I know why you're so chipper, but I'm too polite to bring it up."

Lucas smiled. "You see, that's what I love about you, you understand me. Now. I'll have one crate of Colombiana and one of Dr Pepper to go, per our deal, plus - for here - one bottle of Inca Kola. I'm paying for the Inca Kola."

Lois smiled. "Here you go, 'soda gourmet'" - she joked as she served Lucas the bottle of very-yellow Peruvian soda - "Thanks for the help last night."

"Don't mention it." - Lucas smiled, looking at the crates. - "This is a soda bonanza for me, and the price is just right."

Lois smirked. "Yeah, like you'd not have done it without the sodas. Who do you think you're kidding, Lucas?"

Lucas shrugged. "Well, okay. So I'd have done it. I do still get the crates, though, right?" - She smirked.

Lois smiled a bit. "You're getting the crates exactly because you'd do it without them in it for you. Or you think I don't know at least twenty other angels of vengeance, fifteen of them more powerful than you are?"

"Not to mention saner." - Lucas nodded, in a tone that could pass for serious in other contexts.

"That too." - Lois smirked.

Lucas smiled, finished her soda, reformed her sword into a bar to hold the crates, and picked them up.

"I'll be back in a while, Lois. I think I'll introduce the Cafe to a date, if you don't mind. She's got a bit of an anime radius though, makes things within some ten feet or more of her anime. That's not a problem, is it?"

Lois smirked. "Not half as inconvenient as your average remark."

Lucas smiled. "Ooo, clever. You know, Lois, some people make me feel welcome to their establishments. But you are the only one that makes me feel welcome and like I'm in a sitcom. That means a lot to me. Laters."

Lois smiled. "See you later."

Lucas left, carrying her crates and whistling some old video-game soundtrack music.
