Hiro decided now was really not the time to be in school.

He had had a virus, and the digital fairies had given him an awful lot to think about. Normally he would just leave the premises without a word. It was rare for anyone to notice him slip away, but in this school they did seem to be keeping a closer eye on the students. Besides, he was trying hard to be on his best behaviour...

He decided to leave a note, saying he was sick... it was true enough. after all, he did get a nasty virus. He lamented the fact for a moment that he had nobody to actually give the message to, so he just stuck it on the door of the classroom.

He left past the gates quickly, the warm sun embracing him.

He stared at that sun for a moment... "Why did you did this to me," He asked quietly. How he hated that light... how he just wanted it to go away. For things to go back to the way they used to be. Where he wasn't a monster. A mesh of cold metal and organic tissue.

Thy young cyborg looked at his hands for a moment. It seemed so cold and sterile... it didn't really feel like it belonged to him.

He wondered the streets, looking at each transformed creature. They all elicited the same response when they looked at him. Fear, often mixed with a bit of pity.

"Screw this," He said in the end. He didn't want to go home... but he didn't really know where to go. He just wanted the ground to swallow him up so he didn't have to deal with this any more. But this situation was in all likelihood, permanent. What did that mean for him when he grew older? Would people always be afraid of him? What about a job? What about... girls?

He had no chance any more, with any of that. He knew that.

"Please," he said speaking to the sun as if it had the power to re-shape him once more... "I don't want to be this... I'll do anything you want. I'll be anything else... not this. Not a freak.. not a thing..."

He thought a lot about what that digital fairy said. He also knew, he didn't want to upset his family any more... especially his sister. What if... he did just disappear? His sister might be upset for a while, but in the long run... she might actually be better off. Trouble always followed him...

You will always be alone...

He had wondered through various small streets, finding himself in a clearing. This place was always a little worrying at night, but in the day it was generally fine. There was a small fountain in the center. When he was young he used to play here. They had a photo of him splashing his sister with the water... they were fun times. He sat there for a while, contemplating what he could do... or where to go. One thought came to mind.

He could find a cure...

It was a crazy idea. Absolutely crazy. Did he really have any chance to do something like that? So many people were looking for a cure... people much better then he was. He might even die... given how vast an undertaking that might be. Being partly cybernetic made him a little stronger, but not much...

But that was the choice... he could either live like this, or risk death finding a way to cure himself. And at least he would be doing something, not lying back and just accepting his fate. It would be constructive to his current situation...

If magic was real... someone out there had the power to restore him to human form. he didn't care any more what the cost would be. He connected himself to the mobile network, and sent an e-mail to his parents, and sister. He knew they would try to talk him out of it... but this was now too important to him.

*Dear family.

I've decided I'm going to go look for a cure. I might not be back for a long time. I'm sorry for all the hurt I caused.

Hiro Hibiki.*

He then deleted the directive to protect his sister.

Now Hiro was following his own desire. Rumour on the internet persisted of a possible cure in Hedgeton...

he will investigate it.

Robert wasn't really sure she understood all that had happened. She never really watched 'anime' or whatever it was called... it was all the same thing. Just violent imagery, with barely any story. Those with an actual story were few and far between in her limited experience. It was the same with films to her. People were willing to accept anything these days as entertainment- though there was one piece of animation she 'did' feel a little nostalgic for... though she couldn't quite remember what it was. She had an image but no name...

Apparantly, Cass had the power to instil in the environment an... aura. That of this strange other world. As preposterous as it was, the things that happened would make sense in that world.. wouldn't it? She also couldn't help but feel a little worried, given it changed the natural way of things around them. still, she felt assured that any effect would be temporary.

How would such an aura affect a multi breasted devil creature as her?

She shuddered inwardly... She knew anime tended to be rather perverse, and if she ended up naked- even in a cartoon form, she would not handle it well. Thus far though, clothes had not been effected... but she vaguely recalled that in those animations, females tended to get clothes ripped off... a lot.

Her multitude of breasts quivered as she rose fro the table under her robes. She reluctantly thought she best get some kind of bra... though they were certainly very pert and didn't actually seem to need it. But that they bounced around so much was very disconcerting. The ones on her pelvis were in particular, very awkward despite being the smallest. Having them spaced out so much felt odd.

The priest felt the little get together was going well. Cass was hitting it off with Lucus... though she was still a little unsure about the whole idea of same-sex relationships. It was often a question brought to her... And though it might seem out of place in such a pious priest as she was, there was nothing to suggest they 'couldn't' do such things... the question of marriage though was where it got sticky.

Still this was a matter of interpretation... The Priest wanted his pastors to live rich fulfilling lives... for all her faults... that was all she wanted.

Though with all the talks now, she was feeling rather isolated... she almost envied Father Maxwell, standing contentedly in his grove, not having to deal with... interactions like these. Being here felt awkward. She just never partied that often, and her evenings were always quiet...

Not to mention, she was still awaiting her own trial, for the damage caused to the church. Still whatever the punishment, she believed it would be fair. Maybe.. if she showed she had changed, they might let her off a bit. She had tried to fix things.. didn't she? But there was so much more to do... and she was just one... devil.

She needed some fresh air. "If you don't mind," said Robert. "I'd like to go outside for a walk. There's some things I need to buy," She said.

"Oh.. okay. you will be back soon though?" Asked Rachel.

"Yes..." sad the priest, with a click of her hoof on the floor. She wasn't sure... she could ever get used to that sound.

Hiro had taken the bus to Hedgeton.

He had talked to a few people, and was a little crestfallen. There were some people that mentioned a brief respite of the sun, and turning back human... but almost everyone turned back again.

The cyborg started scanning, and was quite surprised to see 'anomalies' in various places. Most were too small to actually affect anything, and were already disappearing.

'Something' happened here... something that could cure him.

Without much more to go on, he decided to follow the strongest anomalies.
