Charlie and Anna took a moment to talk to each other inside the singular entity that they were.
"So, which side do you want to be on?" Asked Charlie.
Anna thought about it. Either one of them could do this. "I'll take my aspect of us to the other world, you be the anchor here."
Charlie nodded. "We'll use the Air-stone, and merge the two places... just be careful."
"It should work..." explained Anna. "It's no different to when our parents use their aura to merge the animated world with our world. Only this one will be... permanent."
"That's what I'm worried about," Said Charlie. "We only get one shot at it. What if you bring too much of the alien world here?"
They could end up with a pseudo ghost town, existing in two worlds, the people drifting in and out of some kind of limbo.
"We can do this," said Anna.
Charlie nodded once more. "Okay... We'll do this together."
The two as one, took hold of the airstone and Anna made the wish. "I wish to travel to that the other world where this house used to be..."
Anna found herself in a vacant lot, between different houses. She was ghostly still merged with Charley, their duel identity unchanged. The airstone it seemed, affected the membranes of reality to grant it's wishes. Perhaps that was the aspect of it? Air was immaterial... it made some sense. Its main power might work along teleporting you to places where a wish would come true.
This made the airstone very compatible with her own desire right now... she was going to bring this town, back. The air stone, extended her power to the edges of its influence.
Things started to shift around as she and and Charlie became one again. But not just the person, the 'one-ness' extended to the areas around them. Anna carefully plucked the people around her, but she found it got tricky the further out the power went.
She could see the house around her shifting back in and out of position... she continued to concentrate, as she became Riley once more. Charlie had now joined with her, bringing his aspect of reality around them.
"reality is merging," Said Charlie.
Anna nodded. "What does that mean?"
"If both places become one... then this town will exist in both worlds. Just like we both exist as Riley."
this was a daunting concept. A town, that was existing in both realities? What would that mean when the sun came up? Indeed as she looked up, she could see three ghostly moons, taking position to a ghostly moon of Luna, the moon of Earth.
If both suns existed to the town... what would that mean?
"We have to make sure people who leave and enter the town will only travel to earth..." Said Anna. That would mean blocking as much of the other world as possible.
"I am trying," said Charlie. "If we push it just right, maybe we can make our world dominant over the other world... that should fix it."
Slowly the two realities merged...
