Lilly quickly went under her bed, and started to snack on some of the biscuits.

There was a feeling that this area still wasn't complete... she had to cover the whole thing to prevent others noticing her hoard- or even others who wanted to eat it. She carefully started bunching up her toys around the place. Her two squirrel tails were visible though, dancing mirthfully to anyone who saw them.

She gasps as she felt something poking her.

"What are you doing?" Asked the Dinosaur boy Stacy.

Lilly somehow, made her body do a complete turn while under the bed. there was barely any time before her tail and her head switched places. "N-nothing," she said.

"What are you hiding down there?"

"Its nothing!" She said very defensively. She wasn't really sure why she was being defensive about it. "I- Was just putting my toys away," She said quickly.

Stacy sniffed the ground. His powerful frame very intimidating. "I... see."

Adam blinked as knowledge trickled into his mind without a word said, or a visual cue. Having memories suddenly form where there was none to create it, was incredibly disturbing.

In any case, he got his answer. The town was no longer in range of the stone. It could not affect anything outside the world it existed in. He was fortunate the stone actually brought itself with him the first time.

Okay... so... no problem... all he had to do was wish himself back first, then wish everyone just as he had done with the house. "I wish... everything I wished for before was back in that other place."

Again... nothing.

Panic started to enter his mind. What was going on? What were the rules to this thing? When the door bell rang, he got the shock of his life. Was it the police? Being the only house left in the entire town was bound to be suspicious!

He just wanted to help... "I wish I knew what to do!" He looked alarmed realising he had made a very unintentional wish.

He blinked as a strange 'suggestion' came to him.

trust them

Jay's fur bristled. Her tails moved highly animated. Something in the air here, felt strange to her senses. It was similar to the feeling of being watched, but not quite. Like the feeling of static clinging to her, but with no electricity. Everything here was a contradiction to her senses.

Toby had rung the door, the buzzer turning briefly animated as she did so.

A young man opened the door looking quite petrified. "Y-Yes?"

Well... this was awkward, Terri thought. He rubbed his coarse beard as he glanced around the crystalline structures that remained of the town.

The young man almost froze when he saw Jay. He recognised her from the news. "Oh- You're- reporters?" That was just a little better then the police!

"Yes... what happened here?" Jay asked, taking her cue.

Adam wasn't sure what to do. Still the object suggested he 'trust' these people... it wasn't a compulsion, he didn't have to... right now though, what choice did he have? "I-It was my fault!" He said starting to cry. "Please.. I didn't mean it. I just wanted to help. H-Help me... I need to fix this..."

They were brought into the living room, where Adam took out the strange spherical orb.

Riley in her magic girl state gasped. "I.. don't know how. But something feels strange. Actually- you yourself feel strange Adam," She said.

Adam blinked. "Me?"

"It's like you're all glowy," She said thoughtfully. An aura of magic? She wasn't sure how to describe it.

Adam shook his head. He didn't feel any different before or after he made his wish. The whole thing with the sun was quite worrying to him. "I- I- didn't know it really would grant any wish. I just thought... I wished things could go back to normal."

Riley poked the strange air bubble, noting the surface deforming to her touch, but then returning quickly. It gave a slight spark, as if reacting slightly to her own magic.

"Did you wish for anything to make the sun become like it is now?" Asked Jay thoughtfully. Her fox like gaze penetrating the young man.

Adam shivered. "N-No. I swear! I found this after the sunlight happened. It belonged to my grandmother. S-She... died a few months ago. It was with her possessions. B-but she didn't give me any explanation of it. I don't even really believe it! How could she own anything like this?"" It beggared belief... there were so many questions.

"Can you bring back the town?" Asked Toby to her daughter.

Riley was feeling quite a lot of pressure now. People were counting on her... should she use her own power, or this alien magic? The magic bubble had vast power, but it was an unknown. Her own power she was still not quite sure how to use, but it was far more instinctive... the number Four magic girl was able to create portals... could she do the same?

She didn't think she could... not without another magic girl nearby at least. One was a powerful number, a single point. A unit.. singularity of dimensions. Visually to her, it was like a giant column of light, stretching to infinity.... but without another number, one was... just one.

If the town was to return, they had to swap the elements between the two worlds once more.

"There might be a way..." Riley said eventually.

Eric Jones couldn't believe it.. he was a man... not just that, he was human again! When the sun changed him into... into... He shuddered. They were telling him he would have to face being that thing for the rest of his life... he was mentally preparing himself for that fate.

Then suddenly, it just happened... he was human. He looked at the crystalline structures outside of town, thinking it would be a good idea to explore it. The federal agents seem to have taken control of the town now.

They were preparing for the possibility they would be here for a long time. A little of the farm land outside the town had survived, but it was mixed in with the crystalline soil too. If they did have to survive here, they would have to explore... re-learn everything. See if anything was edible out there.

He decided quite quickly he wasn't going to regain his humanity only to die on some alien planet... besides, this could also be a great opportunity to explore.

The townspeople were all huddled in fear at the coming night. Their first night, on an alien world. Parents tucked their children in, asking them to rest. There was some assurance to a lot of them, that maybe tomorrow, they would regain their forms.

Some who were quite happy with their new forms though, shuddered. They had essentially lost their freedom and had to now avoid the sunlight. It was a harsh blow. Now they had lost the freedom they once had, much as the unchanged did back on Earth...

Hawkins scanned the horizon, the shadow creature looking deeply concerned. Cecelia was also looking at the horizon. The strange crystals towered high..

"I don't think we're alone here," Said Hawkins.

"You mean aliens?" Asked the Gynoid.

"Yes... though to them, we are the aliens." He tried to imagine what would happen if an alien settlement just suddenly appeared on earth. He knew humans and what happened when they reacted in fear. Still.. maybe, humans would actually be interested and might welcome them?

Of course, if this planet was host to an alien species, all bets were off. There was no way to know how they would react to their presence, if at all. Crystals seemed to be the equivalent of 'trees' here... and of course, humans were not made of wood to consider the analogy on Earth... what would these aliens be made of? What kind of technology would they have? if Any... could they possess magic?

Still he was jumping to conclusions. There was nothing to suggest an alien presence on this world.... yet.

He then saw the man from before, Eric, heading out the controlled zone. "Where are you going?"

"To explore," he said. "You're the ones with the guns, why don't you come with me?"

Hawkins glanced at Cecellia. "It would be sensible to have a look around..." he thought. Given it was night, this was actually his own element. If there were threats out there, he could detect them first.

Cecellia nodded. "I will advise the rest of the people to stay here... A small group first is best. In case there are local inhabitants..."
