I could see that his charge port was there. "You're not going to kill me in time. Run Keith." I said. He ran towards me and threw some haymakers. I was able to dodge him as he got slower and slower. "Shit! I am out of here!" he said as he stumbled over to try and get away from me. He fell over and gasped. He reached out and his charge finally gave out. His arm then fell to the ground. I just shook my head. "For someone who hates humans, you sure let them dominate your life." I said as I looked down at him. The X-frame rose to its feet. I was startled and did a double take. "Who the hell are you!?" I demanded. "Relax. It's me!" Nikolas said from the large frame. "It's at a low power charge, but I have enough charge in me to pilot it for a bit." he explained. I shrugged and said "Fine. I don't like Keith and you saw how much he wanted to kill me. Take his X-frame. I have to take him to the library. He is due for an upgrade." I had another X-womb in my inventory. If Nikolas was anything to go by, this would destroy him. His whole life revolves around a quest to impregnate Sarah. X-wombs end that.
So that was exactly what I was going to do. Nikolas took the X-frame to the apartment and stored it away. He then helped me take the heavy Keith to the library. He took the second X-womb with him inside without any question or complaint. I guessed that misery loves company. We had to wait a few hours before the new upgrade was properly installed. They also gave him enough charge to get him back online and allow him to get home. I saw him arguing with Nikolas as they left the library. Keith was pissed off. "I don't care who the hell you are, that X-frame is mine! Give it back or I'll kick your ass!" he demanded. Nikolas said "Finder's Keepers. No one told you to attack out of the blue like that." He then smirked and leaned closer. "If you couldn't kill a single human in an X-frame, you don't really deserve one do you." he mocked. It was a total low blow. I obviously chose that point to interject. I gave Nikolas a playful slap on the ass and groped him. "I told you not to mess with me. I just ruined your life. I hope you're happy Keith." He did not look like he understood. I pointed at his navel.
The understanding slowly dawned on him. "You motherfucker! You gave me a fucking X-womb!?" he screamed. Nikolas and I both shushed him at the same time. We all covered his mouth. He then shoved us off of him. He took a few steps away from the front door of the library and clutched at his stomach. "No... there is... no way. I'm going to get a family by making Sarah pregnant." Keith muttered out loud. I just shrugged. "That was the plan until you tried to fucking kill me! Now, you better hope that some male unit thinks you have a nice ass. Hey. Sarah took you in because you're a fuck up that got captured. She'll raise your kids and pretend to be your family again like last time." I gloated. It was cruel and I was doing it on purpose. He balled his fists and said "You're fucking lying. No damn human is going to tell me how to live." He stomped off and Nikolas and I shared a look. We decided to follow him at a distance. He walked for a few blocks before heading down a dark alley. We followed him to a dead end. There were some scrappers hanging out, smoking and throwing their bone dice.
Under the dim incandescent light hanging over a back door, they could see us and they got quiet. Luckily for us, a couple of them recognized Nikolas. "Hey! You got that something good for us today!?" one called out. Nikolas took it in stride. "Nah. Not today. I got to get back and make the next batch." he said as he put his hand on the back of his head. They nodded, but looked closer. "Why the hell you got those lady clothes on. The sweats finally melted off you?" another one teased. He stepped behind me and said "Talk to this guy." They then turned to me. Since he put me on the spot, I was going to take it and run. "Hey. He's my boyfriend. I met him and I just had to have him. He just had to have my dick, so it all worked out." I said as I slapped his ass again and grabbed it. He just glared at me. The scrappers laughed. "Shit. If laying down the pipe was all we needed for free drugs, all you had to do was say so!" one chuckled. They were in a jovial mood. Keith had had enough nice talk. He walked right up to the one that said that and said "Try me on for now. I need a fuck. Now."
