"Size mode sounds pretty cool," Lucy said. And Jason already figured out where she was going.
Lucy was only a couple months younger than Jason, but she was positively tiny compared to him, barely 5 foot tall, compared to Jason's height of 5'9".
"You want to be bigger?" Jason asked.
"How did you guess?" Lucy replied sarcastically.
"Well, alright, but we'd better do it outside. I don't want you messing up my room" said Jason.
Quickly, Jason and Lucy headed for the backyard, passing by the frozen people in the house. Lucy waved her hand in front of Jason's mother, and snickered at the lack of response.
"Lucy, stop fooling around."
"Why? We've literally got all the time in the world."
"Do you want to be bigger or not?"
Lucy pouted and followed Jason outside. Jason pulled out the piece of paper and read over the instructions.
"Okay, looks like I have to..." Jason paused. Sure, Lucy read it, but she might not have remembered the specific instructions.
"What?" she asked,
Without warning, Jason drove the sword into Lucy's gut, and pushed through until it came out of the back of her, causing an orange glow to spread all over her.
"Whoa!" she exclaimed.
"Uh, sorry to take you by surprise. Didn't hurt, did it?" Jason asked.
"Actually, it kind of tickles" Lucy giggled. "Ooh, I got a magical tan."
"Alright, so how big do you want to be?" Jason asked.
Lucy mulled it over for a bit before making her decision.
