The gynoid looked through the magnification lens at the material, however was not having much luck working it out. It was obviously not cotton, although it certainly 'felt' like cotton. It was too light and delicate, and there it did not have fibrous strands.

"I will be right back," She said taking the piece of cloth to a back room.

In the dark, the gynoid stared at the material. She had discovered this function of her eyes some time ago, and hoped it would be useful now. The dark helped kick start the infra-red sensor in her eyes. It was similar to how humans adapted to the dark by activating their rod cells. A gynoid however had so many other sensors they could work with... her eyes flickered from red, to green, to blue in an instant.

Beginning material analysis the program informed her.

results: 99.99999% carbon.

The gynoid stared at the material in shock. She was holding a cloth weaved from carbon fibre! This material was extraordinarily expensive. It was rarely made in such a... refined way either. Did the technology exist to even make it? She had heard it being used in a few places... but never as a dress. What would be the advantage of such a thing? It 'was' light... but there were cheaper materials where you didn't sacrifice that much weight for the same lightness. The difference between this and say, a polymer plastic was negligible.

Unless...

She placed the material between each of her forefingers, and felt a small charge pass between hands. Another program activated.

Beginning conductivity test

Results: No resistance detected.

That can't be right... she repeated the test this time flagging for an actual value.

result: Resistance below detection limits of 1x10-100 ohms... Superconducting

She gasped...

Oh hell...

She ran a few more tests.

The gynoid returned. Although it was probably not possible for her to sweat, she certainly made a good look of it. "T-this is- this is impossible!" She said in the end. "Your dress is a nano material. Carbon fibre woven to maintain electrical conductivity. I- I-" she stammered as she got more information from the internet. Such communication was done near instantaneously. In the last five minutes she had practically dozens of papers processed, and her processors 'trying' to comprehend some really high level science. While the machine aspect of her programming seemed able to work it out, her consciousness was overwhelmed.

"Can- only be made and maintained in zero gravity environments- theoretically. I- Um" Thy gynoid only now realised the strange girl was looking at them blankly.

Anneza stared not understanding one single word of what the gynoid was trying to tell her, but it was obvious she couldn't help her. Did this really mean she was stuck with just this one dress for her entire life? She looked down and upset... there was no way anyone can survive on just one article of clothing! She glanced at the snip where the dress was cut.

The gynoid gestured her to relax. "Sorry... it's just- you have no idea how incredible a find this material is. It's worth... well... its incalculable." Still she suspected the material only maintained its unique properties if it was kept in a low gravity environment. The piece she had, on further testing, was slowly losing its super conductivity.

Anneza gestured for the piece of her dress back... on an instinct, she put the material back onto her dress. There was a small spark as she did, and the material joined together instantly, as if there were a magnetic attraction to it.

The gynoid watched this arching an eyebrow, as an idea started to form. If the girl had more sheets of carbon fibres, woven in the same way, perhaps she could 'make' her own clothes? She would have to learn how to make them though... still, it was the only way to get her some more clothing.

"I think I can get some refined carbon fibres... It will have to be some of the best... so it won't be cheap. We'll order a few sheets, and see if we can work with it." She tried to explain.

Anneza looked blankly again. The gynoid pointed to her dress, and crossed her fingers. Does that mean she might be able to find similar material?

The gynoid then made the gesture almost everyone knew... that it would be 'expensive'. She sighed, taking out her credit card...

she couldn't actually read the bill, but right now, she didn't care. Anything was better then nothing. Besides she had interacted enough with these sub humans...

Sally was sleeping in the corner of the stock room now... she was too tired. Alex sighed, as he waited patiently for lunch time to start. The sun was still making its arc, so half the class was flooded by its light. The far wall though was safe at this point... and half the class room. The half that happened to lead to the hallways, exactly as planned.

After seeing the naked students he felt.. like maybe he was doing something wrong now. He wasn't one of them, and was seeing them naked... To his credit, he didn't draw his eyes at them too much, but the damage had already been done. He felt bad. Like someone who caught a girl having a shower, and was still there after the fact.

He tried to remind himself, that there was no way to know they would be that au natural...

Ah! It looked like they were getting ready to go. He waited as each of the students started to pack their items away. His sister was a very quiet sleeper, so he didn't disturb her. Students started to pour out of the room... however the teacher was still there.

How long until she left?

Hopefully just a little longer...
