A minute did not pass before they ran with them to the elevator at top speed. They wanted theirs as soon as possible. That left Katie and Sparks still marveling over their new X-frames. The cyborgs practically twisted my arms to start on the research for XF-02F right away. The general schematics were due to be done the next day. Alexis leaned on we with a seductive look on his face. "Can you help me? I want to test the genetic material gathering capabilities of my X-frame." he asked. I shook my head no. "No thank you. I would rather lose my virginity to a girl. Sorry." I said. They looked at me in confusion. "Don't you have several kids of your own?" Katie asked. I just shrugged and said "That wasn't with my dick." They left it at that. "That means I'm going to have to bring a human back here." he warned. I shrugged and said "You work at a strip club that allows private dances. I'm sure you can figure it out." He sucked his teeth. "What about us here at the depot!?" Sparks demanded. I said "I'm sure you all can find a nice person with your charming personalities." "Kill them all after though." I added.
I walked down the hall. The large garden that led to a trading post and dueling room at the top and bottom were open. It was set to a large Japanese Zen sand garden. I had no input on the original garden, but I could change it at any time. Patterns were raked into the sand. Stones and plants were placed at the appropriate places to give a very calming atmosphere. The Bio and Chem labs were across the hall from each other at the bottom of the hallways, and at the very bottom was yet another reactor. I was so busy keeping them upstairs that I hardly had any time to look at anything either. I stepped in the Chem lab first. The only thing that could be researched was the incendiary catalyst. I set that to run before going to the Bio lab. This was where health packs could be manufactured. First, we had to study some mutagens. I set that in motion immediately. When I was done, the cyborgs were doing their own exploration. Sparks was in the dojo. Alex was in the trading post. Alexis was in the garden looking around. Katie was in the Chem lab. Maroon was in the PEP lab. I had some time to kill.
Being that I only knew the bartender in that capacity, I decided to talk to him. He turned to face me when I entered the lab. Approaching, he said "When these next ones are done, I want first dibs on it." I just nodded. There was no one else claiming it as theirs. Since we had now had these 2 and another pair on the way, that would mean half of the clan would have one. "You and Red can get the next two." I did have a question. "Maroon? I have a question." I got his attention. He nodded. "I can guess how you would collect the semen from males. How would you get the egg cells from females?" I asked. He said "When we use an X-frame to mate with a human female we obviously don't have real cum or seminal fluid. During sexual contact, we will send microscopic probes inside her to analyze and replicate the form of the egg cells. All the X-frames have DNA that will then be implanted into the copies. From there, we can implant them into artificial wombs at the library. Sperm is also implanted into our bodies there. Then we can mate amongst ourselves to create the advanced offspring desired."
