The night ended faster as Sadie has planned for. Although Jeanna did find a victim, she shortly after succumbed to her hunger and instead of spreading the curse and fueling Sadie‘s power, she just stuffed herself with food all night.
Sadie‘s power did not grow as anticipate, however she was still getting stronger with every day. She just needed to adjust her strategy. Sarah was still miles away from finding a curse for the curse and Sadie‘s influence started to corrupt her. Sadie decided on playing with her a bit. It was a long time that she had that kind of fun.
Sarah spend the night with Tyrone. Both watching out for each other not to get into the moonlight. They did not know of Jeanna yet, however that will change eventually. When the morning dawned Sarah got back into her room, getting at least a couple of hours of sleep before she needed to go to her classes.
After a more or less refreshing sleep she walked towards the campus but stopped at a local café for some breakfast. Normally she only has a coffee for breakfast but today she was hungrier than usual. After her coffee and a big beagle she walked towards her first lecture. On her way she met Tiffany, who was also half asleep from last night.
„Morning Tiff, you look like shit. Something wrong?“
„Morning. Yeah some crazy fat chick attacked me yesterday. Nearly suffocated under her. Didn’t sleep much afterwards. But please let‘s not talk about it, i try to forget that.“
The class was boring as always. Sarah didn’t really listen. For some reason she was already hungry again and her thought drifted towards all kind of unhealthy food. Burger, Pizza, icecream…
„Getting hungry?“
Sarah could hear Sadie in her mind.
„Shut up! You don’t have any power as long as I stay away from the full moon.“
„Oh sweety, I think you don‘t understand your situation. I am a part of you. That means with every passing day we grow closer together. And speaking of power. I can do more than you think. Maybe I will give you a demonstration when the time is right.“
With that Sadie was quiet again. But she did enough to plants some concerns in Sarah‘s mind.
