Becka felt the wind in her hair, a curious warmth as the magic filled her. She wasn't too sure about the clothing she now wore. Indeed if anyone saw her she would probably burn red in embarrassment. Her shoes in particular felt really weird. However she was encouraged by Tridents promise.

A weapon! Yes! A weapon would help her feel a lot stronger. She wondered what kind of weapon she would get. "H-how do I mani-ff- manif-fth-" she struggled saying the word. She knew how to say it but her tongue didn't seem to.

Trident smiled looking like a proud teacher to her pupil. "Manifest. Follow your instincts... think of it like er.. dancing."

"I'm not gonna dance!" she said automatically but at a stern look from trident the little girl hunched her shoulders. "Um- I don't know'ow to".

Trident sighed. "Well its not 'really' dancing. I can't really explain it. Just ... do it." This was it. This part of being a magical girl was not something that could be taught... But Trident didn't want to say that. She knew that Becka had once been a boy and she really really hoped this wouldn't be a problem for this step. It would be a disaster. A magic girl without a weapon would become an easy victim... she didn't want to even picture it.

Becka sighed shrugging her shoulders, the strange tri-coloured lights behind her back moved to the shrug, following every motion. The girl moved her legs a bit, motioned her arms a bit, but looked exasperated after a few moves. "I don't know'ow" she repeated.

Trident was not going to let her give up. "Get into the rhythm. Remember, three is your number." She started tapping to three beats on the ground with a pause at each fourth.

Becka's ears perked up a that sound as a strange expression came on her face. She felt a... tug on her arm, as she felt a need to hold her right arm out.

"Yes that's it!" Trident was really excited now recognising the first step. She continued the rhythm.

Becka started to twirl, her legs moving as a ballerina's. The points of the petal like dress rose upwards slightly by the breeze. She caught sight of herself in the broken mirror somewhat awestruck at the motion. It was all so... natural? But how? The magic around her intensified. Becka then stopped with her legs and arms spread apart in perfect balance as if she was a bird in flight. The three bluish white lights filled into a bold white colour.

Each triangular light moved into a position that matched their shape. One between her legs, and the last two under each arm, still she did not waver or move. Each light then jumped inside her arms and legs channelling themselves towards her chest. Becka placed her palms upon herself as if in prayer.

Trident was silent in watching with dazzled, proud, and happy eyes. This was it! Then, the tiny woman fell back on the branch in shock at the powerful display that followed. A pillar of light shown outwards from Becka, far into the sky, past the atmosphere, signalling the summoning of a magic girl's weapon for the first time into this world.

The magic jumped from becka's chest to her hand as something solid formed... her weapon?

Tridents jaw actually dropped as she looked up at the dissipating light. It was entirely unexpected.

Bekka had her eyes closed almost the entire time but was excited to find out what her waepon was. She very vaguely remembered liking swords. Or perhaps bows and arrow? Or maybe a more modern day weapon... a gun? Maybe it would be that? Would she even be allowed to keep it if anyone found out? She glanced behind shoulders noting the lights had also returned to normal behind her back like a constant halo companion following her. She turned to look at what she now held.

she blinked with surprise. "WHa's this!?"

It was some kind of trident- like- thing.. but too small to actually hurt anyone, and blunted. It was more like an over sized fork. Worse it wasn't made of steel but some kind of.. well.. it felt like plastic. A cheap toy...

"careful where you point that!" said Trident not wanting to take any chances.

"how's thi's gonna hurt anyone!?"

"I promise you... the magic will grow as you grow. But what you hold right now is all your going to need. For now." She glanced around hoping their little light show didn't bring any unwanted attention. She knew however there wasn't much time. Especially after that display.

Becka poked at the strange weapon, and its three blunted, triangular ends. The 'weapon' seemed to have three gems embedded inside it. one on the left was a heart, but the other two were blank. Yet she could almost see some kind of symbol on it.

"Wha's this for?" She asked Trident.

"Well.. that one" She pointed to the heart symbol. "I think its to heal you and others. Every magic girl gets that power...its the power of love."

Love? Becka made a face. Well... healing is a good power, the girl guessed. She had to admit she felt good. Like a great athlete. She tried a little jump- only to find herself in the air almost twenty feet high on a high branch.

"AHH!" she screamed. She was too high to even see Trident. "Help me!"

"Its okay!" The voice of Trident flowed into her despite the distance. "You can jump down now"

"Nuh uh! Get a ladder!"

"You jumped up there just fine you can jump down... trust me!"

"Wh're are you!"

"I'm down here- just jump. I promise you'll be fine!"

Becka was absolutely terrified but she didn't know how she would explain how she got up here anyway. She started trying to climb down... only to lose her footing in these shoes, and fall. She seemed to twirl in the air, and landed easily on her feet. Becka blinked... puzzled, her blood pumping.

Trident smiled. "Okay... well.. that was going to be my fourth lesson. But at least you got that part done right" she giggled.

"These sho's are silly" Becka said tapping her feet when she finally realised she was back on the ground.

"Nonsense! Your a magic girl now. And with my help your going to be the very best." She glanced in the distance. "I think... we can call it a day for now. You've actually done really well..."

"We c'n do more" Becka said. Having jumped that far up.. and down made her feel quite excited herself now. Maybe she could actually use the weapon!

"Tomorrow... I promise. But right now, I have to make sure nobody saw us..." She really wasn't expecting such a powerful display of light. It spoke volumes of this girls potential. "Um... remember nobody can know about you. Okay?"

"Er.. okay..." Becka said disappointed.
