Shayne picked up Yola and waited around with the boss. The half orc was with them as well. We were taken to a basement level. Each of us were given a stunning agent while they got to work. It took a bit, but the UNS generator was successfully grafted over our belly buttons. "The operation was a success. You were all compatible with the generator. You should all be able to access Form 1 for about 5 minutes. With work, it should stabilize up to a point where you can stay in Form 1 indefinitely." Archer explained to us as he pushed his glasses up his nose. He then shrugged and said "Form 2 might be out of reach for you guys though." Paul pat me on the flank. There was a bit of a ping and I realized that Form 4 was unlocked indefinitely. That would be great for when I was fighting those monsters on my own. Brett did the same thing with the flanks of Mikey and Jamie. Omnikid would be next when there was time for it. Kody smiled and said "First they use magic and weapons that can't break. Now the xenomorphs have UNS generators too. We're going to have to train hard if we're going to keep up."

Xenomorphs and humans just could not get along. "Do you want one?" I asked. Kody's face lit up. Archer just turned to him. "You sure that they can't break? You only have Form 2, you know." he said. "If Form 2 can't break it, it might as well be." he replied. He then turned to me. "Yes! Gimme one!" he said with out stretched hands. If it was just a joke, I would be an asshole if I denied him now. Archer looked at me expectantly. I looked at my inventory and gave him a shortsword I got from a bandit. I also gave one to Archer as well. He looked surprised and then said "Thank you. I will run some tests on this right away." "Let's get back to the lounge. Everyone should be waiting for you there." he said after giving a few swings. They led us up the stairs and the boss looked at us with crossed arms. Brett waited until Kody sat down to sit on his lap. Kody laughed uncomfortably. "Very funny. I don't like xenomorphs though so you have to get up." "Are you sure!? I don't bite." Brett teased. Kody said "I'm reaally serious now. Get up please." He was not smiling anymore. Brett got up and just sat next to him.

The boss looked at us. "You are not going to be welcomed in the city." You will be enforcing the new resettlement zone. Make sure nothing happens to them over there. If any xenomorphs come through a portal in the area, you'll be the ones to deal with it." he instructed. We nodded and were told to wait until more vehicles could come to take us over. There was a pause while we waited. I saw that none of the MPAX agents wanted to talk to us. Even the nicest among them, Kody, was too busy comparing his new sword with Archer's and showing it off to the others. When there was a few vehicles, we were shuffled out of the lounge. The agents did not even look at us as we left the building. I was a bit sad to see that. Lots of people were racist in this game. They took us over to the site right away. Once there, we were reunited with all the others. As the new police force for the settlement, we told the leaders what happened to us. They were interested in seeing what we could do. We each took turns going into Form 1. After 5 minutes, we all had the UNS nanomites recede. We all needed to fit in here.

After that, Father Conrad looked around and asked "So, are we invading the cities or not!?" That made us all look at him. It was a brazen question. "We need to work on the settlement first." the male Wood Elf said. "Yeah. If we don't have anything, they are going to swarm in and slaughter everyone here." the female Wood Elf added in agreement. Sir Gifford nodded and said "Fortifications are necessary if you want to hold territory. That is the seat of a true conqueror's power." Father Conrad said "I see the truth in your words. Is there any way to get our settlement in peak condition in the near future?" Sir Gifford shrugged. "We will have to see what we are given. I do believe that if we were to focus on the building of the church and other critical buildings, we can have it done in a few months." That would be fine. We already had some building crews come on the journey with us. Getting a church up and running would be the best thing. That could even be a respawn point for us. In the meantime, there was some things that we could do now. There needed to be some way to generate some money.

I was correct that there was. Since there was equipment from the police, we got access to their internet. The Players showed the pilgrims how to use it. We then began a steady schedule to livestream and make videos about the people in the resettlement zone. It was also good to show off the religion of the Church of the Sky. We made sure to only occasionally mention the xenomorphs in the police force as well. With that, there was some money to use for more development. Our village was made in the style of the type of houses made in Ether. In the meantime, we used the tents that were provided to us. Our site was also visited by the more curious of the natives. It was up to the police to watch them from afar to ensure that the peace was maintained. Brett, Paul and I were the best. As long as we did not go to Form 3 with the UNS generators in the presence of anyone, no one noticed that we had powers above what we were supposed to have. On the whole, we told them to leave after a bit and they did so happily. Their curiosity was sated. Any Xenomorphs were killed near instantly by all of us.
