Yola was her name. He picked it out himself. I did not question him on it. With my increase in skill points, I finished out the Holy and Healing Magic trees. There was a bit still left over, but I would use it later for something that came up. Shayne was absolutely thrilled that he had a daughter now. He wanted to take her to his father. "I kind of wanna show the old man he's a grandfather now." he said. I had no problem with that. We left the city and made our way back to the village. The father was a bit confused, but he could not deny the family resemblance. He smirked at Shayne and said "I guess those rumors about the ones not from here were true. Who would have thought my son of all people would be the one to find one out and fuck them?" I smiled at his expense. "Come on! I'm not that bad am I?" he said embarrassed. Yola was just a baby and would be that way for a few months in game time. Centaurs matured much quicker than humans. Shayne's father waved us off as we left. Returning to the city, we were approached by a courier. He had a letter for me. I had to report to the cathedral.
By the time I got there, a crowd had already been forming. I approached and asked what was going on. One of the young men there said "Bishop Franco received a big letter from Archbishop Holger. It was announced after Mass today. Did you miss it, Brianne? You're always in the church." I replied "I was visiting family. I have been busy since joining the Church. What happened?" It was Bishop Holger that responded. "I am glad you were able to return so quickly from your trip, Dame Terri." he said. He then approached. I kissed the ring he offered. "Has any progress been made on those cultists?" I asked him. He shook his head. "No. They are watched day and night. It is proving impossible to break their spirits." he told me. One sucked their teeth and snapped "Someone should do something about it. It's not right they can attack churches and not feel the pain when they get caught." Others in the crowd agreed. "What was the letter?" I questioned next. The archpriest said "Archbishop Holger has said that since the force of the Church of the Sky is being flexed we should show it to all of Ether."
Doing something big would show up all of the other churches. The game just started after all. Franco continued, saying "It is his opinion that since the Nation of Wreta to the North has a wide river, we could sail a force East and explore the ocean. If possible, he wants to reach and colonize another continent for the faith." I asked if he thought it would work. He shrugged. "It would need a large force. The laymen who want to settle there will need some protection. I assume about 200 fighting men. Also, it would depend on the amount of people that would want to go. It is large risk, but I guess... 50 people could make a stable village. With the fighters included, that would be enough for a small town." he said as he thought on it. "I guess this is because there are so many strong members of the faith." I said. He just nodded. I smiled as this was a great way to explore. They said that the FOG was not even a fraction of the way done being explored and colonized. That could be really interesting to actually sail there instead of using a portal. I told Bishop Franco and the others that I would be going there.
Even the ones that were racist against me were impressed. "Well, there's no way we can let a 'taur show us up!" on said. A cheer went through the crowd and it seemed that lots of people were pumped up. "I might write a letter to Father Clinas. He had rumored that he had a small militia under him." I nodded and said "I can deliver the message and bring them with me to Wreta." He just looked at me and said "Wait here. I will write it right away." Just like he said, I only ended up waiting 10 minutes. 20 of the gathered also decided to follow me to Orido Village. Shayne, Yola, Mikey and Jamie were coming with me as well. Getting to Orido Village was not that hard. This time was different than last time. There was too large of a group to take down in such a short distance. When we got to the village, I gave the letter to Father Clinas right away. He read it over and smiled. "Looks like I was correct in my assumptions. It is time to assemble the Cumulus Militia." he said. The militia was 10 young men led by the eldest son of the blacksmith, Calvin. He remembered me form the fight. "Back for a rematch?"
