Very quickly I checked to see if all the crazy buffs were still there. They were not. Everything in the Mount tree was set to 100% I was also dropped down to level 24. This meant that I had points in things that I did not have the levels for. In a way, this was just as broken. The buff for the blessing was 25% buff to agility and a 50% buff to my speed. My children would probably be able to gain the same thing. They were just born and level 484. I decided to name the white one Mikey and the blue one Jamie. It was not very serious. They were just going to help me destroy the game's difficulty. Xenios had no problems with it and beamed with pride. "You have borne two strong children. I am proud of you." he said. I nodded my head. "Make sure that you pick up a stone. We need those for when we leave." I reminded them. They both bent down to pick one of the stones at the bottom of the spring. I picked up three of the stones. I wanted to make sure that there were some for my children as well. I asked around if we had to go the way we came in. They told me the stones would give us safe passage.
We went down and found that what they said was true. No one came to attack. The various enemies that respawned just passed us by. Mikey and Jamie were now in my party. We made our way out and the town of Estlor was just to the south of the dungeon. There was a cathedral for the Church of the Sky there. We entered and I walked down the aisle of pews and eventually a monk came over to us. "Good morning. Do you five... demihumans need something?" he asked with a hint of displeasure. He was an elder man, but still fit. I guessed he was still able for combat. I showed him my stones and Xenios and Korenio did the same. "We challenged the dungeon of the sky god, and we would like to join the Church of the Sky." I told him. His eyes went wide and he said "I will bring a priest here." He then hurried off to get one. When he brought the nearest cleric, they looked at it. She bent over to get a closer look. "I've heard of these stones from the books. These stones are proof that you have all been to the Spring of Aether. How did you get these?" she asked. I told her "From the springs."
Yawning, a younger male cleric came over to see the commotion. "Mother Penelope, why are all the 'taurs here?" he asked with curiosity. She sighed and said "Micah, it is nice to see you up so early for once. These centaurs are claiming to have been to the dungeon and have brought back the stones from the Spring of Aether." Her slight chiding brought a blush to his face. "It's not like that! I stay up doing chores and praying. You know that!" he defended himself. He then looked to us. "I guess we need to anoint them and preform the conversion rites then." he added. Mother Penelope and the monk did not like the idea. "Father Micah, there should be no reason to rush into this. We should try to discern whether or not this is the truth." the monk said. "How will we determine the truth? Ask around to see if any other converts are around that had lost their stones? Do you know how many heathens and heretics would saw yes!?" Father Micah said incredulously. Mother Penelope smirked and said "We should go to the archpriest for guidance. She will be able to divine the truth with her holy gifts."
Zipping up, I allowed them to handle it. I did not need to get in the way. The monk guided us at a distance as Father Micah and Mother Penelope both led us over to the sperate chambers of the archpriest. We all waited a bit at her door and then Father Micah knocked on her door twice with his knuckles. Mother Penelope slapped him on the shoulder. He hissed in pain. He then held his shoulder and looked at her with a betrayed look on his face. The look was kinda funny. I did my best not to laugh. "Have some respect, Micah!" she snapped at him. That also almost got a chuckle out of me. The centaurs were just following along with confusion on their faces. My children were near feral at the moment and had to be constantly reigned in by me or one of the others. It was then that the door opened. A beautiful woman opened the door and smiled at all of us. "Penelope, Micah, Brother Tyrion and guests. It is nice to see you. Good morning to you all." Bishop Annabelle was told about our situation. She only frowned with confusion. "Would you like me to perform the rites? Are you three busy?" she asked.
A pause went through the hallway. "Bishop Annabelle, we were hoping you could divine the truth of their statements." Mother Penelope said. The archpriest was still a bit confused. "Why would we need to do that? I can see that they all have the stones. We must perform the rites for those who come with them." "What if they stole all the stones from someone else?" Micah asked. She shook her head and said "That is simply one of the trials the converts are expected to overcome." That was a relief. Even if we did steal them, we would still be able to let these rites go through. Father Micah nodded and said "Fine. I can perform the rites. We just thought that we would seek your guidance for this." She nodded and said "That is totally fine. Since this is such a momentous occasion I think we should all co-celebrate this ceremony. How does that sound to you three, Penelope? Tyrion?" They simply nodded. Annabelle went back into her room. "Please escort our five intrepid guests to the northern chapel. Then we can prepare ourselves and get dressed for the rites." she instructed. "Yes, Your Beatitude." they said.
