"Oh this looks cute Jon." His mom said as she took a top of the rack.
"But mom!" Jon cried. "That's pink and I don't want cute." He told her.
His mother sighed. "Jon I'm getting really tired of this behaviour. Either try something on or we're going home leaving you with just the clothes you have."
"Fine." Jon said grabbing the pink shirt. He headed over to the changing rooms and the changed in to the top.
"I guess it's not that bad." Jon said to himself. "But why does it have to be pink?" The shirt his mother had chosen was a pink short sleeved button up shirt and Jon had to admit. It did make him look smarter. Maybe he could wear something like this on his date with Amber.
He stepped out to find his mother standing there with a pile of more clothes on her arm. Jon could see that they were in a variety of colours.
"Looking good son." His mother said. Suddenly they heard a wolf whistle and Jon quickly turned around to see where it had come from. A girl who had just come out of the women's changing room winked at him.
Embarrassed, Jon grabbed the rest of the clothing from his mother and hurried back inside.
He just wanted this to be over with as quickly as possible.
