"But nothing," she said, firmly.
Zoe seemed rather satisfied with the outcome.
"If you're that upset about it Jon then I'll take you clothes shopping." His mother said. She looked at her watch. "How about we go now?" She suggested looking at Jon.
Jon opened his mouth to argue that he'd rather just keep his own clothes but after seeing the look on his mother's face he shut it. It seemed like he was getting some new clothes.
"Fine." He said shooting Zoe a look who just smiled back at him. "Can I at least have my sneakers?" He asked seeing as he only had the one pair.
Zoe nodded and took them off before handing them to Jon who quickly slipped them on.
"Right." His mother said cheerily. "I'm glad that's settled. Come on Jon. Let's go."
Jon nodded as he followed his mother downstairs.
