"Please can we get back together?" Biff pleaded like a puppy dog, much to everyone's amazement.
"But we were never together...and you like Sarah. You guys date, it's like a law of the universe." Karyn retorted in embarrassed shock.
"But don't you think we'd be good together?" Biff continued.
"Good together?" Karyn managed to get out, thinking this must be a massive joke.
"Yeah. Because it just makes sense."
"Biff you are the biggest jock, muscle head, meat head in the school, what makes you think we'd be good together? "
Biff said without hesitation and complete sincerity. "Because you're the prettiest, and coolest girl in the school." And Karyn didn't know what to say. She turned away, towards a window and saw herself in her white blouse looking prettier than usual, and Biff in the background looking earnest and handsome right behind her. It looked like a prom picture and for a second what he said nearly made sense, they did look good together.
"This is crazy." She said, and turned back for a second, catching his eye, but then turning away red faced. "I've got to go." And she walked quickly out of the room. Why was everyone in her life crazy.
