Rebecca Fine hummed happily as she entered her office and set everything up for the day. After opening the blinds, watering a couple of plants in the room and turning on her laptop she sat down in her leather armchair and took a sip of her coffee.

As she waited for her laptop to boot up she looked around her office smiling at what she had done since she had been assigned to this town. For a moment she allowed herself to reflect on yesterday's events.

She had taken Alex to the high school's football game. Not because either of them wanted to go but because there were some "clients" there that she couldn't normally see during the day. She also wanted to see how Rachel and Martin would get on in their new positions.

Rebecca smiled as she recalled Alex's outfit for the day. He looked so adorable in the white dress and white sandals that she had dressed him in. His hair had also been tied into two pigtails. A hairstyle that Alex seemed to love.

Turning her attention to the game Rebecca frowned as she saw the team struggle. Looking over to the sidelines Rebecca could see Rachel giving the team instructions and then the players would look at each other and shake their heads.

Rebecca noted that once on the field the quarterback would signal to his teammates that he was changing the play only for the play to fail. Looking over towards the cheerleaders Rebecca could see a similar situation. She sighed and shook her head.

At the next break Rebecca took Alex's hand and went down to the sidelines and had a word with both of the coaches. After their chat both Martin and Rachel felt more assured in their role and confident that they new what they were doing.

Rebecca had then talked to both of the squads and told them that whether they liked or not these were their new coaches and that they should follow them without questioning them. Some of the students had already been to see her so they fell in line easily.

The few who hadn't been to see her yet well she had decided on a different approach. She told them that if they didn't accept the changes then they would be kicked off the squad. Understandably soon of the players complained and started arguing. So she told them that if they had any concerns then they should come to her office first thing the next day.

A knock on her door brought Rebecca out of her reverie. She looked at her appointment book and then smiled. It was one of the players from yesterday. Rebecca quickly smoothed her clothes, making sure she still looked professional, cleared her throat and called out.

"Come in!"
