"Great!" Cindy said as she placed it on her desk. She then stood up and took Steve by the hand.
"Come on!" She said. "We need to make sure that you're, like, looking your best for your photo on the card."
Steve just nodded as he let Cindy drag him back to the store.
Cindy then had Steve sit in one of the shampoo chairs and had him lean back as she begin to run warm water over his scalp. Then she started to gently massage his head.
The gentle rubbing of his head and the addition of soothing music being played in the room was so relaxing that he momentarily fell asleep.
Cindy then giggled to him and said,"Wake up sleeping beauty." But whatever scent was in the shampoo and the melodic tone of Cindy's voice left Steven in a lucid state.
He was lead to a chair where Cindy and another girl begin to apply cosmetics to Steven's face and then painted his nails a bright red color.
Next, they put some ear buds in his ears and the last thing he comprehended hearing was Cindy saying,"You are so beautiful."
