"I don't think I'll be doing that." Karyn retorted.
"Don't trust me?" Rhetorically asked. "I get it. I wouldn't trust me either. It's all very strange, the things that have been happening, but then again all change is, even when its for the better. Do you think that people saw the first car, or the first electric light as something strange too? But isn't the world better for them?"
"Depends who you ask, and people aren't inventions you can twist and change." Karyn shot back.
"Sure they are, people change every day, I just...guide them along a path." Soothed Miss Fine.
"It's unnatural. Jon isn't a mom, he's a teenaged boy. Change him back."
" He's a boy who wanted to be a mom. I just helped him get there." Defended Miss Fine. But she saw in the stern look on Karyn's face that there was no convincing her, so she changed tactics.
"Alright I'll come clean, I've been changing people, giving them little pushes in certain directions. I'm the mastermind behind all of it. I can't tell you why, but I can ask you this: if I'm the one doing all this, how does that explain your changes? Because I haven't seen you but look in a mirror sweetheart, you've done a very nice 180 from where you were a week ago."
Karyn tried not to be aware of the make up on her face, the way the air felt on her skin in these fashionable clothes, or the way her hair had been styled fell across her eyes.
"It may be a happy accident that you got those clothes because of something I did, but isn't it you who wished up those breasts and hair to be....just like Sarah's. You are the one who fawned over Biff enough to say yes to a date with him, that was all you, I had nothing to do with that on your end, on his end yes, but I just opened the door, you keep walking through them. So ask yourself, what do you want...because I think you want to be Sarah."
Karyn just sat there in shock as the weight of her new breasts and hair tugged on her like a costume of another person she had put on which had stuck to herself, reminding her of her stupid wish. There was some truth in her words...
"So once you decide what you want, come see me, my door is always open." And with that Miss Fine left the room.
